What Internet Marketers Can Learn From The Hip Hop Industry

They said it would never last, the music elite said they were too hypie, even serious music fans dubbed it as a fad. Marketing experts even said the masses would never accept it. That sounds a lot like how Internet marketing started back in the 80's and 90's.

What the new generation of Internet marketers can learn from the hip hop industry is the value of taking calculated risk. Also learning from failure, thinking creatively and refusing to allow others to label or place you in a box.

With so many Internet marketers now seeking proven plans, guaranteed opportunities and fool proof systems - a quiet danger is growing.

A dangerous atmosphere. An atmosphere that makes it easy for the crowd or herd mentality to florish and take over.

The danger with the crowd or herd mentality is it sneaks in and delays, dilutes - and even stops innovative breakthroughs.

We need more innovators to grab the torch from legends like Dan Kennedy, Jay Abraham, Marlan Sandars and others. They blazed new trails that most of us still follow today.

They didn't have access to many proven, guaranteed, risk free Internet markekting plans when they started. Why? Because they were none.

Hopefully the word R-i-s-k won't become just another 4 letter word for the new generation of Internet marketers.
