Affiliate wants to move on to something better

My story goes like this, started as a clickbank affiliate back in Jan. 08 and have made sales for about 4 months and stopped because I lost interest. Than I got back in to it last week and starting to make more sales. So I know now I can makes sales no problem.

Now I want to move on to be the guy who develops the products. I'll continuing doing the affiliate part but I want to do more. As we all know the publishers make the most money. So I ask the warriors, How do I get started? Start with a PLR product and develop it to mine, etc? or stick with affiliate marketing and just start thinking BIG?

    Hey TW,

    If you're succeeding and making money, I don't think you should stop - at least for now.

    You can the best of both worlds. So, I suggest you continue marketing affiliate product until such a time that you are successful marketing your own.

    To develope your own product, follow the time-tested rule:

    - Find a market
    - Identify a problem they have
    - Figure out a solution
    - create a product that solves their problem
    - Sell them the product

      Why don't you make a product about how you make clickbank sales.

      The IM Niche is obviously pretty easy for you to target with a product like this.

      If you can show people how to successfully sell clickbank products, they would pay for it.

      Start with a WSO. Then take the testimonials you get from that to making your own site and clickbank product around it.

      Obviously selling clickbank products is an old idea and you won't be breaking any ground with this product, but if you got a good twist or you simply can provide results for people, then it will sell.

    Model your best converting Clickbank product, and copy it (obviously not the illegal kind of copying) but more like "modeling"

    You've been around the CB marketplace so you know about what products are converting. And you know how to make sales, and what is selling for you.

    Publishing your own products is how to make the SERIOUS money. Yes there's more to it than just sending someone to a hoplink, but it's also WAY more lucrative than affiliate marketing.

    Look for a mentor who can put you through on how to become a good writer.

    Your experience in the affiliate market is enough to form an e-book which many affiliate new guys can buy and use.

    I however advice that you don't abandon affiliate. There is no crime to multiple streams of income.

    Maybe use your earnings from affiliate promotions to hire someone to write a good ebook for you (after you do the necessary research). That way you can continue making at least some money and branch off into bigger and better things.

      I agree with this, keep on with the affiliate selling and invest the money in hiring a freelancer to create a product for you, it doesnt have to be an ebook it could be a piece of software or web script.

      Thats my 2 bob's worth anyway
