Low Cost Ways To Reach Monthly Goals

INTERNET MARKETING

Ok heres my situation, I recently got laid off from my retail job because my store closed, I just moved to an area where retail is reaaaaally suffering, nobody can really hire anyone right now. I'm living w. my father, It was his idea to move me out here so He's not asking for rent (so far) I've literally hit up eeeevvvvvvverry place in the area.. I've hit up craigslist, Ive done snagajob, its a desert out here.

I need to get on my feet somehow, I've determined that I need at least 200-350 Per month to do so...

I have plenty talents, I'm somewhat familiar with marketing, And I dabble in PR & promotion type stuff because I also make music on the side & part of that includes that type of work (its a labor of love tho, im not making money off music) But I also make T-shirt designs that cause lots of people to actually hit me up on facebook asking where they can buy them but i cant actually press them because I need a heat press for 200.. & I've actually been paid for song writing before.. I've actually made 125/m off song writing, but its real hard to keep up with because of flakes & I have to record references which im not able to do right now..

So really I have plenty ways to make money, I just need you guys to help me think of a low cost way to put it together that will allow me to pull in an extra 200-350/month

Show your father the legitimate interest in your t shirts and show him exactly what you need. I don't know of many fathers that would say no to their son if they only ask for like $200. Then you can get your heat press. If you spend 2-3 hours a day promoting your designs with free methods you'll easily clear your goals.

Make yourself a decent website to show your dad too. You can easily make an e commerce site with wordpress

i'd do that but the thing is my father is in between jobs right now too.. its an option but it would have to wait a month or 2

  Just a thought but you have you looked at cafepress? They handle all the making of the shirt you design them and people can buy from your website there.

  There are tons of ways offline to make that very easily and bridge some of your talents. But I would just start with services - it's always the quickest way to earnings.
  
  You could get an account with CJ for example (commission junction) and setup an affiliate with Aweber... Then research a couple of nice small business themes and offer to setup a site for local businesses or "optimize" their existing flat HTML sites.
  
  Sell them hosting via a the $100 payouts that hosting companies pay on CJ. Sign them up with Aweber via your affiliate code. Set them up a wordpress site. Charge a reasonable fee and give them a "reason" why you're doing it so cheap. Tell them that you're new and want to build a portfolio of clients so you're offering your service for $250 instead of $500 for the first 10 clients or something like that.
  
  If you did this you could easily hit your goal several times over and you could build a little (not much, but something) residual as well. Next step is offering some other basic services like setting up a Facebook fanpage for them or a twitter account, etc... and now you've got another round of income...
  
  Another great idea if you're good with video is to do family documentary videos. You can do it just as photos if you wanted to with a service like Animoto, but video documentaries are really great. You can go to retirement homes and offer a free small conference and talk about them, etc... then sell small packages. Again, easy to build on this in many, many ways.
  
  I did this, more high end stuff, HD video, lighting, etc... a few years back and had a lot of fun with it. I didn't do it for the money but there was money to be made. I had fun because I was interviewing some WWII vets and it made for great interviews.
  
  Well there's a couple of ideas for you... Don't set your goals so low. You could easily do $2k a month off of either of the ideas above with a little effort.

Please update us on your progress and do NOT give up. If your dad is interested have him help you! I'm sure he interacts with business owners.. He may be able to get you some referrals to make some cheap web sites and then they'll spread the word as well.

CafePress is a great idea. You can also buy some of the t-shirts, etc and then sell them at local markets as an add on.
