Best Forum Plugin for Wordpress... Which One Do You Use?

Hey Warriors,

I am looking to add a forum to my wp site. Can you help?

So, if you could add Both Free and Paid recommendations would be great

Hopefully this thread will help fellow entrepreneurs in the same position...

Thanks again

Kev

Why focus on a WP plugin, trying to force WP into a function it wasn't designed for?

I mean, I could shoot pool with some of my fishing rods but I'm likely to have much better success using a pool cue...

I like bbPress a lot and I think you can integrate it with your WP install

I'm using Simpleress. It's a forum plugin for WP.

Admittedly, it's not the best forum setup, but I like the linking to and from posts - you can write either a blog post or a forum post, and if enabled, it'll automatically create the other. (It you write a blog post, it'll create a forum post and vice-versa, and also link the two.)

If your forum isn't the main feature on your blog, I think it's worth checking out. It's free.

Simple Press also allows users who sign into the blog be signed into the forum too.

Not the best but it does work.

    Thanks,

    John
