I have noticed facebook pages appearing on page 1 of google results for amazon products?

Is anybody using this method and what kind of results are you getting?

    I'd hate to resurrect this thread but this is the exact question I was going to post.

    Doesn't anyone else think this strategy is a terrible idea? I can't seem to find much opinion about it. This isn't what facebook was made for. People are essentially taking advantage of the trust value in the domain. However, you can't possibly expect this to last forever? Or be a good long term strategy?

    Can we get some opinions thrown in here?

    Normally, when a facebook fanpage has thousands of likes, it appears more often in the top 10 results

    My fb fanpage has 77,000 + fans and it comes on page 1 on google.com even if I just mention 2 keywords while searching

    and not just that, I also get visitors due to this!

    I have seen others saying that fb users r likely to buy amazon products via fb...

      Just shows you the power of social media, I use Facebook pages for a lot of my amazon sites with decent succes
