Facebook Fanpage Question

How is it possible to know who created an fanpage? I have landed on a few and found it impossible to know who is responsible.

Is it possible to know?

    I don't believe there is a way to know.

    You can always ask the owner/admin of the page by trying to post on their wall.

      In part I wondered as I want to create fan pages, not bad ones but I was curious about people wanting to contact me if they wanted to.

    You will see in the settings of your fanpage, in the 'Featured' section, you can select to add 'Featured Page Owners'. If you do NOT add any featured page owners then no one will know who the creator or admin of the page are.

    Yep, Jill is right, there's no way to know who created a fan page. I'm pretty sure that even if you're an Admin on a fan page, you still can't see who created it. That could be good or bad, I don't know.

    Thank you Will, I didn't know about that feature, but I've never tried it as yet.

    It's good to know in advance.

    @Gray, I'm sure that Admin would know, maybe some kind of footprint. Imagine a fanpage with dubious content, you can bet they would know who put it up and delete the account.

      I was made an admin of a page that was for a company - but I didn't create the page.

      That company had someone design their website, and do some SEO - and that same seo company set up the fan page.

      Add it to a list of services you offer.
