Do you advertise your Fiverr gigs anywhere?

Hi all,

Many have posted gigs on fiverr and make good money out of it. My question is, do you advertise your fiverr gigs anywhere else after you posted it? if yes, where do you do that ? and do you find it worth it to advertise a $5 ($4 actually) of service/product?

Come and share. This might be a good sharing.

I think Blogs, facebook, twitter are not a good place to offer gigs. There are several internet marketing forums throughout the web. You can promote your gigs there. Also, you can post your gigs into different classified sites. I hope you will get the best result.

I know this might be a cuss word but, CRAIGSLIST. Seeing that I'm in a niche like DJ DROPS/Urban Voiceovers, I'm really able to convert interest and sales from this source. It's pretty neat. Now obviously I'm using image ads and not just text, I'm also able to embed samples of my work as well. What service are you offering? (If you would like to share)

Youtube and Forums maybe the best ways. You can also contact those who requested or wanted a gig. It works for me because I am offering a Virtual Assistance Service.

I use to make about $120 a day on fiverr by adverting logos and stuff in bigger newsletters for that niche.

You have to think smarter, not harder.

Fiverr use to have HTML code you could plug into your web page. However, they got rid of option last year. Sadly, Pinterest is doing the same. What can we say on companies. They soon turn mean. Well, once they grow over a certain size.

You can invest a bit to make your gigs featured at Fiverr.com. You can also easily promote your gigs on different forums and social sites. I personally use Twitter and FB, and it works well for me. Just don't give the impression to spam.

    Good luck

I have had a degree of luck on Twitter. I have also tried social media but have not seen much in the way of conversions.

    The question is this:

Why would you ever advertise services for $5 when you could be marketing it for more (even with gig extras considered)?

Additionally, why would you ever direct a prospect to a website that has competitors left, right and center?

Fiverr should be your place to sell in quantity at a budget rate with the rest of the web your sandbox to sell at a premium rate.

Not only that, you're trying to sell your gigs to users who potentially have never heard of Fiverr or are not Fiverr users. Fiverr does enough marketing themselves for you, it's all about optimizing your gig so that it appears in searches and getting your first few sales and reviews to get the ball rolling.
