Ranking a one page website in Google - Is this a myth?

Guys,
Ive always built medium sized websites, that offer a blog, and the traditional pages such as about us, contact us, frequently asked questions and so on.

I guess in a sense this is because Ive had the belief thats its not possible to rank a single page website, ie squeeze page.

Can someone prove me wrong?

Is it really possible to rank a one or two page site high in Google without any content?????

    I guess you can, what I think you should do is model after that number one site and just try to beat him off the ranking. Read his contents and compare it to yours and start building it up from there. I am currently doing this to my other site that I am preparing tons of content for to get it up number one. Wait and see, who knows?
