Top 5 Must-Have Internet Marketing Tools

INTERNET MARKETING

I apologize in advance if there is a similar thread to this already out there. I am still trying to learn the ropes of the Warrior Forum, and with so much out there, it's a bit overwhelming, but I will take the time to really get to know how this works.

I am curious to learn from the veteran marketers what you would consider to be the top 5 MUST-HAVE tools that you absolutely can not live without for your Internet Marketing business... anything from a WordPress plugin to a graphics tool.... literally anything.

  Actually, you should say Thank you to him...
  
  Everybody and their dog comes in, create an account and the first thing is to put up an affiliate link in their sig - because they never read the forum rules!
  
  And if clicking on a sig link we don't see you there, we are not obliged to click around hoping to figure out who owns that site. Maybe you can re-phrase the signature to make sure nobody suspects you're promoting an aff link.
  
  Just sayin'
  
  p.s. Sometimes warning a new member about sig rules can save them from being banned and/or sig links "right" revoked...

Hi

That depends .... different business models and marketing techniques will require different tools.

Ask an autoblogger, a niche site builder and an authority site developer and you are going to get 3 lists of 5 different tools.

Ask a Clickbank marketer, an Amazon Affiliate and a product developer and you are going to get 3 lists of 5 different tools.

Ask a writer, a graphic designer and a Java developer and you are going to get 3 lists of 5 different tools.

Also, I suggest changing your subject to "What are the 5 must-have IM tools?" so people like me who are looking for recommendations don't get sucked into a thread that is asking and not telling ...

Thanks for the fair warning, and I do appreciate your feedback Istvan, just wanted to stay on topic.

I don't feel that I've broken any forum rules since the business is partly mine (and not an affiliate link).

I am genuinely here to expand my learning, not to piss anyone off, but it seems this can be quite the tough crowd.

The main thing is really your market research. In order to make a sale and to continually profit you must really be in the mind of your customer. What are there pains, there wants, what do they read? Where do they hangout? ETC... A real good place to start is to go through the Market Samurai training module I think it is free. Also you must master testing and tracking because here is where the real money is made once you know your target market. You can use Google Analytics Web Optimizer for this. Learn how to use Multivariate Testing and A/B Split and track them to your keywords. This allows you to test the right combination of headlines, subheads, videos, photos, audio, and etc.... To get to your sale or service. Also check out a book by Robert B. Cialdini, Ph. D "Influence-The Psychology of Persuasion". I hope this helped.
