interview an expert in any niche, test his formula, if you have a good result then sell the transcript of the interview.

At this moment in time it was never so easy to create a product:

Write an e-book, make a video, make a camtasia screen recording, find an expert in your niche and make a Skype interview with him, transcribe the audio interview, teleseminars or V.I.P webinars... OMG the possibilities are endless!

I've been creating a lot of video and audio products in my niche lately (because I was too lazy to write something), but at the moment I am finishing my first manual and it kinda makes me feel proud.

For me audio & video is like having fun and making money out of it

I am going to have to agree here. I prefer video the most. Also, you can sell something that is only a 20-30 page pdf rather easily... the length of the product does not necessarily matter.

I agree. There are numerous tools available to you. Pick one and make a product. If it doesn't make one red cent you will have learned something about the method of production you use.

Audio and video are great to use. Most of my products are written guides accompanied by at least two cd's/dvd's.

Creating your own product can be quite a task.

The above posts have some good ideas on creating a product.

Make sure it's a product that people will pay money for.

Then you'll have to deal with...

    - Collecting payments
    - Delivering the product
    - Customer Service

    All the best to you!

You can use Free Conference Call, Phone Conferencing, Teleconferences - FreeConferenceCall.com.
It's free. You can talk to to anyone, anywhere in the world. And they have a record feature.
I bought a recorder at Radio Shack for $6. does a great job. You use it with the audio recorder on your PC. I use Audacity.
    And, don't overlook plr.

I have a product that started out as a seminar and gradually morphed into an online course that sells well and is attractive to affiliates. Here is a general timeline of how I did it:

      Step 1 = LIVE CLASS
I taught a 2-hour live class at a local adult education center which helped me compile my notes and get a feel for my topic. I also left ample time for questions to make sure that I could find out what the people who signed up for the class were really looking for. I made it a point to highlight the parts of the seminar that people were most interested in. I taught this class a number of times to really get it down and create a fantastic course that people would appreciate.

      Step 2 = TELE CLASS

I took my local class global with a "Live Tele-Class." I put up a website with a course description and a specific time. Then I added a payment window and gateway. I charged $99 and after the completion of the sale each participant was emailed a confirmation email with further instructions. I set-up a FREE account with an online with InstantConference - Free Conference Call Service and secured a code. The day before the class I emailed the teleconference number and code to my participants along with a PDF syllabus so they could print it and follow along. InstantConference recorded the call to MP3 for me and emailed me a link to download it. I made a few hundred dollars from the class and had a nice MP3 recording of it to boot!

      Step 3 = DIGITAL PRODUCT
I sent the MP3 of my course to a transcription service to have it transcribed word-for-word. This socst me around $250, but it saved me the trouble of writing the whole thing out myself. After I received the transcription I edited it into an e-book using Microsoft Word and turned it into a PDF file. Voila E-book!

Next, I broke my seminar into 6 different 30-45 minute sections and re-recorded them as high-quality MP3's using a program called SONY Vegas. I work at a radio station so I have access to this kind of expensive stuff. You can find free or low-cost products that do the same exact thing. I would also reccommend doing a video slideshow or CamTasia video if you have the chance.

Once the eBook and the audio recording were finished I created a salespage and submitted it to Clickbank. Voila! I created my own product. Actually, I created a TON of products!

      -Live class
      -Teleclass
      -Teleclass MP3
      -Ebook
      -6 MP3Recordings

You could do the same thing for any niche. Just start with something small and keep building it up from there!

      Good luck!

Thank you! The key is to remember that EVERYTHING you do is a potential product.

Articles you write for promotion and link building can become e-Books.

Phonecalls you make and emails you send to potential JV partners can become templates for others to use.

Even your mistakes are valuable. People want to know WHAT NOT TO DO as much as they want to know what TO DO!

Document everything and then package it up.

And thanks for the the thanks!

Like many of the people have said above, there are SO many different things you can do with info products!

Your first key is, as mentioned, to find something that you are truly passionate about!

From there, you can either spill all you know about that topic into words, or simply find someone who is an expert in that field!

Someone else's knowledge can easily be turned into an audio interview, an interview transcript, a video interview, an eBook, a special report, a series of MP3 recordings, a live event, a teleseminar, and I'm only beginning to SCRATCH the surface!

Likewise, there are countless ways you can turn your knowledge into profit-pulling infoproducts! Just to name a few...live events, DVDs, online video downloads, CD, MP3 Recordings, teleseminars, eBooks, special reports, transcripts, podcasts, a monthly membership site, and again...this is only the BEGINNING.

One awesome book full of ideas on creating introproducts in Entrepreneur Magazine's "Start Your Own Information Marketing Business" which has been a stepping stone to help me get my own business off the ground!

    So, in 3 steps:

    1) Find someone you are passionate and/or knowledgeable about

    2) If you don't have the knowledge, form relationships with someone who does!

    3) Take the knowledge and turn it into PRODUCTS PRODUCTS PRODUCTS !

    Best of luck!

There can be no ONE final answer to the question, its a combination of a lot of things..

Ask yourself what you are passionate about because being knowledgeable about something or having some experience about a field may help you.

Ask yourself what you have going for you, what skills, abilities or talents do you possess that you can leverage on... are you a better speaker than you are are a writer, and vice versa.

Ask your audience... what topics are they interested in enough to spend money for and what is the ideal medium of delivery for this information.

If you are new to this, go with what you FEEL is right... and if it does not turn out good, adjust, learn, and better your process.

I bought a PLR product in my niche. Turned that material into 26 weekly lessons, with my own added Action Plan for implementation. Made those into PDFs and uploaded them to a web host. Then, I created a series of autoresponder emails to send those out every 7 days. I created a web page to sell the whole thing as a Fixed Term, 6-month membership site. People pay me monthly to keep the emails coming, which gives them the download link for the next week's lesson. I provide customer support, but also sell private coaching for more personalized application of the material as an upsell.

It's going pretty well, so far.

A fast way to create a product is as follows:

Step 1: Take a PLR ebook and redo the graphics including the ecover and retitle the product just to set you apart from everyone else.

Step 2: Purchase a USB headset and download Audacity software. Read the ebook back and record your voice. You have now created an audio.

Step 3: Take main points from the ebook and turn them into a PowerPoint using either PowerPoint or the free OpenOffice version of PowerPoint. Download a free screen capture program from Jing and now you can record your screen. Record your screen and record your voice at the same time talking about the product. You have now created a video.

So from one PLR ebook you have an ebook, an audio, and a video product. You can now charge more for this product and you have done something that sets you apart from everyone else that is trying to sell the same PLR.

A great way is to get a lengthy interview with a recognised guru or expert in your niche area and ask them questions on how they got started, what business plan they use etc. and they use it as a stand alone product as a video or transcript. Just my 2 cents of info..!
