Hello there,

I have been making a little money for awhile now since I've been accidentally implemented an offline marketing method.

I'd like to share it as a WSO with every fellow warriors, but here the problem comes:

How do I know if there is/isn't a similar WSO's that's out there already? Obviously I don't have the time & money to follow or buy all the related WSO's...

So, how can I prevent this to happen?

thanks

I don't think it matters really.

Your content won't be the same as someone elses. You'll have different ideas and different presetation methods.

If you go to a shop to buy a tennis racket, you'll have a choice of different makes to choose from. Some will be on special offer this week, others might be on offer next week. You'll choose the one that looks like it suits your needs best based on looks, how it's made and value.

It's the same with products that you can buy here, whether they are WSO's or not. Never be afraid of competition.

You Don't Need to Worry about that because Even GURUS Can Create Products with Rehashed Stuffs for 100 times and why don't you can?

Do not worry, Just go for it as long as you are not copying someone else's work.

If you are unique with you ideas and presentation then there is no problem.

Also keep this mind that no one knows everything so your product will still be new to a lot of people.

    I hope this helps

I guess the simplest way would be to use the advanced search function of this website and look in the WSO section.

I agree with others in this thread though, just because it has been done before doesn't mean your WSO wouldn't have value. A lot of people just like that stuff for the PLR rights anyway and aren't looking to learn anything new.

The easiest way, as mentioned, is to use the search function.

    See if anything pops up.

If something does, and you think that it is in the general area of your proposed WSO, I'd actually go ahead and purchase it.

    Why?

It gives you the ability to not only see what your competition looks like, but also allows you to see where they fell short with the topic -- and where you can add to yours to make it better.

    Just my two cents, though.

That's what I thought, and tried - but there are hundreds that's on "offline marketing" and the WSO names don't often states the method or anything - most of the sales pages don't mention much.. that's all

But anyway, I'll just write my stuff and have confidence! maybe?

Might well just jump right in.

... no better way to learn than doing that. Plus, if your WSO is solid, everything else afterwards will simply take care of itself.

        Yes, take out the "maybe"!

If you used the method successfully you will find a lot of eager buyers.

    You're thinking too much.

Ask: "What's the downside to putting out my WSO?"

Well, I have had some experiences where buyers requesting refunds on the WSO thread saying that, my ideas are old - and shouldn't take it out here to charge for x amount of dollars!

    What should I do?

    There is.

But yours is probably a better fit for people who are more like you.

    So it doesn't matter.

Most marketing lessons date back to the 1920s or earlier. Those people are idiots. Give them their money back and let them walk away.

You are always going to get refunders who will give you a variety of reasons why they want to refund, so don't worry too much about that. As long as you are offering your very own spin on a product don't be concerned if there are others out there that are similar.

Remember too that there are thousands of people visiting the WSO section every day. It is likely that some of the people who see your product didn't see the others.

Yes. It sounds like you idea is already taken - I wouldn't bother.

I think digileaf has already answered you question. Every book is different in presentation although it might be same in ideas. Just look around all the diet books, the first rule for them is just to eat less calories but it can be presented in many ways. Just like a given topic of an essay, all of us will score different marks depending on elaboration and presentation.

Just go for it. In the words of Art Williams, words I take to heart everyday, "Just do it!"

I was going to post a video of the speech. If you Google "Art Williams Do it," you'll find an inspirational speech. Definitely worth checking out. Just do it.

The way I have always looked at it as think of all the colleges with thousands of different professors with thousands of different books that they teach out of all teaching the same thing. Just presented differently.

The fact that it's YOU presenting it the content will never be exactly the same. Some people may understand you better than another person.

Also think about this. There is hundreds of thousands of NEW people every single day looking for ways to make money from the internet. What are the chances they go back and buy a wso that yours might be "similar" to?

Don't worry about it - there probably is.

I've bought plenty of WSOs that only contained information that I had already covered in products of my own.

The same with offline marketing - It's mostly about basic business knowledge and creative approaches to showing and providing the value your customers need. I haven't read anything new in any offline WSO product yet so I wouldn't actually expect yours to be totally unique.

The only problem will come if you make some wild claim like "never seen before" or "no-one has mentioned this before". I've seen people make those claims and then read the product and found it's all just old information - they just thought because they hadn't seen it before that it must have never been talked about.

Don't worry about it - if you're making good money doing something and you feel qualified to teach what you've learned to other so they can repeat your success - that's really what matters.

Looks like everyone's on the boat.
What I have been concerning about is that if my contents are not unique - it'll be considered as plagiarism, but obviously, it's pretty much unlikely to have some unique stuffs...

    thanks guys

      You Go ICN,
Remember "when we were little" in grade school I love that phrase
We would have to write a report on something, most everyone used encyclopedia
      way back then lol..... etc }

We just had to summarize into our own words maybe add extra research info,
You can always make it better quality and value as zachary said.

"Most all ideas are already taken" so are domains etc. (WillR)
Doesn't mean just quit and don't bother no one would get anywhere.

Just make yours a little different and Better ! You Go!

The hamburger idea was taken long ago. Didn't stop McDonald's, Wendy's, White Castle, Burger King, 5 Guys, In-n-Out, FuddRuckers, Red Robin, etc...

Point is, make it better, make it unique, put your own spin on it, and so on.

You probably will have a unique twist on something, even if it has been a wso. There are many wsos for example on making money with adsense, facebook fan pages, google places etc. I find that when there are examples, screenshots and templates provided there is more value given. Also for offline, client acquisition is a big area of interest.
