Selling Website First Time - How Much ?

Hi, I am selling a website the very first time so I really don't have an idea how much should I sell it for, I know there are many senior people here that have already sold many websites, maybe they can help me

Website Information :-
  • 4-5 months old
  • 25 pieces of unique content (pages) including Privacy policy, Medical Disclaimer and About me page.

Rankings Information :-
  • no.2 = Product name + reviews
  • no.7 = Product name + review
  • no.7 = Product name [ Exact Match Searches = 5400 ] [Broad Match = 14800]
  • No.7 = Generic Keyword [Exact Match Searches = 6600 ] Broad Match = 49500 ]

My website also ranks on many other keywords as being content rich website.

Earnings :-
  • Only Affiliate earnings No Adsense.
  • Approx $170 - As a result of working mere 2 months approx.

Reason For Selling :-
  • Have no more time to manage it because busy in other projects.
  • Second reason, I have to buy a new laptop.

Can you please suggest me what price should I charge ? where to sell also ? How much Flippa charges if I sell a domain there ?

    Depends how many monthly searches have your keywords and how many people visit your site...because buyers will be a low %...only 1-5% of visitors buy something.

    Go into Flippa and check out the just sold sites tab. Do an advanced search for sites that have been sold in the price range of $1000 to $3500.

    You will find a lot of affiliate and Adsense sites in that bracket that are earning around what you say your sites are earning.

    Find a happy medium and find a price you are willing to sell for.

    You could simply start the auction for $1 with no reserve if you feel confident enough. My philosophy is, only sell your site for what you'd be happy with.

    I recently sold an affiliate sold I created for 14 x monthly earnings on Flippa.

    You are right I just searched in flippa inside the "Just Sold" section and there are adsense sites that are sold for $2000 making $180 / month.. That's Amazing

    Can you give me one more help, how much total I have to pay to flippa ?

    I'd attempt to sell it at around 6 times average monthly income. 3-4 months is low. Flippa buyers like sites that are making money, even sites that aren't making a huge amount of money.

    Selling websites is no different to selling houses. It's worth
    what someone will pay for it!

    Sound vague but it's true. One of the best things you can do is try to
    find similar websites to yours that have just sold. That will give you the
    best guide line to what the market will pay.

    Flippa is the best market place to sell websites, and value of site is mostly depends its revenue, thats what people look for...
    And as far price goes i usually sell my websites min 4x average monthly income. thats minimum for me.

    Flippa is the best place to go - hands down. The price ranges will be between 3x and 10x the monthly free cash flow. Does it make sense to put some adsense on it or to go another month or two and do some SEO to push a couple of those terms up a little bit (if you have the time to do it)?

    if the website has been earning those figures for at least 3 months and you can provide proof, then you can easily sell it for 10 months worth or revenue.
