How to get email list from my visitors? Better content or force them to subscribe via email (when you go to some website, they will show a big loading page)?

Better content - when people subscribe to You because they like Your stuff you may count on their loyalty. They will trust You and be willing to read what You write to them.

When you force people to sign up to your list they would probably unsubscribe when they download your stuff.

        You'll need a 3rd party autoresponder like GetResponse.com

    Hi Showfom,

    * "better content" - yes, it may stimulate your audience to sign up.

    * "force them" to sign up - with that you'll alienate them from your site.

    * "big loading page" - do you mean site loaded for eternity? People don't wait long, I click away after 5 sec, if the page isn't loaded.

Anyway, if you mean to collect visitor's emails technically, then take Jason's advice. Any autoresponder service do that for you.

    Many successes,

    Sandor

To build your list you nedd to give something out in return with their names and email. So first thing is to create a squeeze page with your capture form. To entice them to give you their name and email address, give them something valuable and they will give you their details in return.
Your giveaway report must be something that has to do with what your subscribers really wants "GREAT CONTENT" with a solution to their problems. Hope these help?

The easiest way is to give them a good reason to sign up. How that's done varies from site to site, but you can offer a steep discount on services, give away a free guide, offer tips, provide an e-course, share exclusive information...or ny combination of these.

People visiting your site are going to decide if giving you their e-mail address is worth it; you need to make it worth it in their eyes.

Just remember to always give the people on your list something of value in every message you send them.

    All the best,
    Michael

I agree that giving your reader something for free is the way to get their contact info. Free information or videos are easy to obtain. The trick is to make it sound like something that they really want or need. You could also actually give them something that is really useful.

Get an email service provider - aweber
and download a aweber form integration plugin
offer your visitors some quality contents
but in return they'll have to enter their emails!

Provide a great free ebook or course when they sign up. Also mention it at the bottom of posts and pages saying don't forget to sign up.

    Hope this helps

One good method is to find a plug-in or theme which will protect part of the content. Then write a post outlining something you can teach or show the visitor - cooler and more unique the better. Then, at the bottom, put the video where you show the process but protect the video for subscribers only.

This is an example but partial content locking is a powerful method.

It can be free, but doesn't have to be free. Again, if you provide something of value to your site's visitors, you will be able to get sign ups.

Make sure your content provides the reader with clear information related to whatever product or service you are trying to promote. Create a strong enough interest that they are willing to subscribe to your mailing list.
