This Is So Dumb, I Just Had To Comment...

At the risk of sounding like a hypocrite, I had to share this with you...

Just as I thought I had seen it all, I get an email today.

Two days ago I Purchased a WSO.

Today I get an email informing me that the same vendor has just launched a brand new WSO.

And guess what?

It's the same WSO I just purchased two days ago.

True story.

So here's the lesson...

Segregate your lists so that you don't end up looking like a total idiot.

Sorry folks, but I just shake my head sometimes.

I thought that would be common sense, but then again, some people claim that those who have it, actually only demonstrate uncommon sense.

Are you sure it wasn't just a blip in the email/wsppro system?

    Darn those details!

Sadly, even if it was a decent WSO, all you'll remember is this little gaffe. Definitely a wake-up call for anyone who's in the same boat!

Yup, he should have segregated his list. But another lesson to take away from that is how valuable it can be to constantly have a "grand opening" of your product. He missed the mark with you but by presenting his existing WSO as a new launch he's creating excitement & interest - same as if he offered it with a special limited-time discount.

Now what he needed to do with you as a buyer was follow up w/a complimentary product; guess he's still learning

Fair comment, but the idea is to do it in the follow up and promote a different product.

Back in my early days I made the same mistake. People would email me telling me to stop asking them to buy what they already bought.

  • But with all the affiliates pushing WSO's now, it's hard to filter them out.

I get several offers for the same WSO all the time. I'll admit is does get frustrating.

It's worse when you get the offer from the actual owner after you already bought it - and it's the same address you purchased it with.
