Hi again!

I want to write an ebook in the IM niche, but do this ebooks sells anymore?

Because it's thousands of these sales pages that are offering these guides, and if I create one, will it be an market for it then?

For the time I'm trying to build my subscriber list (in the IM niche). And I know it will be much easyer to make salles with an subscriber list.

But do you know about an success story where an IM ebook have sold like hot bread? And was the creator just like you and me?

I don't know, have you checked in the WSo forum lately? Or the Clickbank marketplace?

Yes, I have checked the ClickBank marketplace. And the only thing that sells there is "get rich over night push button softwares" and some diet products.

the short answer is yes. yes, ebooks still sell. ebooks in the IM niche still sell. The problem is, in my opinion, that everyone and their brother thinks they are an expert in every field so the market is saturated with these ebooks in the IM nich (and other niches) trying to make a profit.

Obviously it is easier to see in a market with less competition, but that's not what you are talking about. To break into the IM niche, you need to be unique. You need to have something special about yourself that draws people in, otherwise, who's to say billy bob won't just buy someone elses.

So, you have to build trust... somehow. If people believe you, they trust you, it will take a snowball effect and they will tell their buddies, or they will help promote it because they believe in it. It is similar to the WSO section or the Classifieds section. Some offers are smoking hot... while others have 2 responses. Could even be a similar product but Warrior A has proved himself, offered help, done tons of things... while Warrior B simply went straight to the WSO section and tried to get rich.

    Hi Jimmy,

It really boils down to one thing - does your info product deliver real value to enough people?

If it does, then I have no doubt that with the right marketing and positioning of your product in the marketplace that it will sell. If it's just another product on the same topics that have been covered time and time again, then why not just promote the top product as an affiliate? You'll save yourself the hassle and you'll still earn a big chunk of the sales price anyway.

Yeah, they still sell. I know because I buy them. :-) I buy WSOs all the time, which are for the most part e-books. Quality is important. The thing about e-books is that you can't really price them too expensively like you could before -- unless they are accompanied by videos are something. The cool thing about having your own e-book/product is that you are not only building a list of targeted buyers, but you can also use affiliate marketing by recommending related resources throughout the e-book. Yes these ebooks still sell! Especially if you can present a whole new approach when it comes to this industry. But definitely, there are a lot of people who are still in need of these books.

You mean Sell like hot cakes!

I agree - they still sell - and there are a lot of big name marketers who make their money from text products. Either sold as a one off product, as a weekly download (ie. membership) or even convert and ship a physical newsletter (eg. Dan Kennedy).

I've read a few threads recently where people said they preferred text products to learn from.

When it comes to selling bucket loads - that's quite vague.

I used to dream of creating one product and letting it sell on autopilot, bank me $100K a year and never have to do a days work again in my life.

    Now I think differently.

If you created a product and set up a system in say 15 hours and sold just 100 @ $27 then you've just banked $2,700 (that's $180 per hour).

At that rate you'd only have to work about 11 hours per week to make $100K a year.

    In theory

These products are absolutely still selling. Just look at the warrior special offers forum for example. Good products sell like mad. If you are planning to do a big launch through Clickbank, I would definitely put a focus on finding JV partners to help promote your product.

    Goodluck!

As long as what you're going to provide is something of actual value to the customer, there's no reason that it won't sell. The eBook market is only getting bigger as a matter of fact, so yeah
