some advice on creating a WSO pls,

Hello

I have an idea of promoting 500 PLR top quality articles, using WSO.

They cover different topic, and each articles are greater than 400 words

How much should the price tag be and any other advice would be appreciated

You can offer that in the classified section, but cannot run a WSO on a product that you did not create yourself.

You may offer these in the classified section, but not as a WSO. WSO's must be original works created by the WSO poster.

What is the difference between this guy, and all the other PLR WSO's that you see posted everyday?

Are those products people create themselves and then just offer PLR rights to them for the buyer?

Or are they people like this guy who maybe just "rearranged" stuff here and there and "made it there own"?

          Where is the line?

          Thanks

The reputable sellers you see offering PLR have either personally researched and written the content themselves, or paid a ghostwriter for full rights to the articles that they are offering as PLR content. The content is completely written from scratch, and not "rearranged".

The best advice about the WSO section for new members is to read the rules of that section in the sticky posts at the top of the section.

Do that before going further - every advertising section on this forum has rules posted at the top. That's where you start.

I suggest you re write them all, categorise them so its easy to pick your articles such as:

      SEO
      Boat Cruises
      Dating

and so on, then sell them for 5 to 12 bucks.

As its not your own work they need re written.

      Good luck with that.

No, you cannot do a WSO for these as you did not create them.

Perhaps you can put sell them in the classifieds section.

edit: Oops I was too late, others already said it...

Other than re-writing it, why don't you just take the main gist of it, and create a completely new article?

Sometimes, re-writing takes more effort than writing a brand new one :-D

i get the rules of the wso section... but does anyone actually believe that all those products are done only by the owner.

outsourcing of content creation including product creation is pretty normal. many software products were not coded by the guy selling them.

dont get me wrong, i understand the rule and i am not for breaking it. but lets not pretend like all or even 80% of the content in the wso section is totally new content created entirely by the thread stater.

It has been discussed several times... I am surprised you missed it.

If I outsource something (be it coding or writing) and I get the exclusive rights from my hired person - that is mine. Think: ghostwriter, ghostcoder...
So, it is OK to market/sell it as my own product.

If I buy a PLR package and try to sell it as my own creation... it is not OK.

      It's that simple.

I should have been more clear when I said the "creator of the thread". When someone buys full rights to a product it then becomes the buyers own. Therefore if I hire someone to create software for me, it's still mine. You are still creating something as you are the person who had the original idea, provided financing to have it developed and advertised on the Warrior Forum, etc. If someone just takes some PLR and sells it they're not developing the product and it's not their original idea.

Now all that being said I've seen NUMEROUS WSOs that are just PLR that someone thinks they can get away with selling (or they don't know the rules). If you see something you know is PLR and is not original to the author, report it.

You must either create the product yourself or have someone create it for you and give you exclusive rights. You are allowed to hire programmers and writers, but you must have exclusive rights to the product.

it seems as though i did not read the OP properly. i was thinking the op was considering have a set of PLR articles created to sell.

not that the OP had purchased a set of PLR articles and was looking to re-sell them via a WSO.

    my bad.

It's not ok to buy PLR, and rewrite it to sell as a WSO. That is mentioned in one of the rules stickies. Not saying some don't do that - but when reported their WSO is history.

I agree with you Kay, but wanted to add just a little bit more to your comment.

" - but when reported and verified their WSO is history."

Wsos that sell existing content are destined to fail.

I have another idea instead....forget about selling existing content and research the market to find out what people want to buy and create a new, killer product yourself.

    Great wsos are:

    Action plans
    Little reports
    Step by step guides
    New secrets or methods
    Easy to follow guides.
    etc...

So invest your time and do a killer market research. I'm sure you will come up with something great.

I'm confused. I know that Warrior Forum states that they must be original works....but i know for a fact that some really big warriors have had some really big and successful WSO's (because i bought them) that were PLR and they just added a video on top of them? How do they get by with that? I'd be banned for life if I tried that. LOL

Do you mean that the video was the main WSO and the PLR was a bonus or was the whole package essentially repackaged PLR? If the whole package was PLR, no matter how "big" the Warrior is, you should report it.

Sorry my friend but that is a no go on PLR. I would just take the time out to create the plr yourself with your flavor and then sell them on the wso section. If you take the time to add more quality to them you will do better off and you wont stand a chance of tarnishing your rep man. In the end your buyers will love you for the great ORIGINAL PLR
