I've always wanted my own "first sale" thread...

Hey Warriors!

I've been a member here for around a year now and I used to read the "made my first sale" threads with pure envy.

Well, as of yesterday I've made my first proper sale.

I'd made money from Fiverr etc. but never from affiliate marketing, until two days ago.

It's nothing major I guess, but $18.99 commission was awesome. I just got a massive smile and feeling of delight inside when I read the email saying "you've made a sale" two days ago...

... and I got another one yesterday.

There are only two places where my affiliate links are. At the end of my free ebook and on the download page for the ebook. So, I know where they've come from... my extremely small list of 12 subscribers!!! Haha! And the first subscriber only joined my list three days ago, and I haven't really "tried" to drive any traffic yet.

Plus my squeeze page ain't all that special... check it out in my sig "Swift Product Creation" on the right.

I know there are always stories like this in here, but I just felt like I should post this for anyone who is really struggling and maybe thinking about giving up.

So, if you're that person... Please don't give up! Keep plugging away, it WILL happen for you!

I guess this is just a thank you to The Warriors and The Warrior Forum, from whom and where I've learned so much.

Thanks,

Jamie

I wonder how DO these people come up with such great pics/videos/gifs. Even if the crowd was "turbo clapping!" My sentiments exactly.

JamieD, hope you have many more. Welcome to the party.

    That's awesome.

You'll need a much larger sample group to come to any conclusions about your success rates but just keep getting traffic and see how it goes.

I love those random sales. For some reason it's so satisfying to see sales come in as you never when they'll come. To see a random sale from something you've stopped promoting actively can be even more satisfying. The more products you put out there and the harder you work the more sales you will see!

So much more thrilling to see a sale come in compared to just working a real job, as in the real job you know exactly when you're getting paid and how much. Some people would like that more but I guess it just depends on what kind of person you are...

Congratulations! ...and actually I like your squeezepage. Nothing "loud" and you have to scroll down to opt in, which means you actually have to read and be interested before you sign up... Not too bad.

A great feeling, right? Now you have to find the way to replicate that success as many times over as possible. I know you're excited and I commend you for your efforts, but it's time to get back to work
