Adsense CTR?

Hey guys,

I just have a quick question!

I am new to the whole adsense game and i was wondering what is a good CTR percentage?

I just want to know what I should aim and test for!

    For me 4% is already enough. If I got 1,000/month visitors and the CPC is $2. That would be $80/month. 1,000 visitors are just for my niche sites, what about if I have large sites? 4% CTR for large sites may be enough and can earn you decent income.

    Man, that's like asking "how a long is a piece of string?".

    Clickthru rates depend on so many things, including the topic of your page, how well optimised the page is, how targeted your site visitors are, what site theme you are using etc etc

    My experience with niche sites and traffic from search engines is clickthrus varying from 1 - 15%.

    Anything below 1% requires a complete rethink about the site. Anything over 5% is great (IMO).

    It depends on the niche. The average click through rate can vary from 1/2% to a few%.
