HOW TO CREATE A BLOG ON AUTO PILOT

Hi Warriors,
I want to create a blog that would run on autopilot. The contents, traffic, and every other thing would completely be on autopilot.
Anybody have an idea on how to go about it?

  • There's some powerful plugins to make autoblogs. I think good to go for try that methods.

    • WP Robot is one of those plugins..

Works really well on several of my blogs...

Though recently autoblogs aren't really the flavor of the month with Google
  • It's been covered many times before. It's just down to what content you want and your choice of plugins to hook things together.

Popular choices are scraping articles, twitter feeds and rss feeds, auto bookmarking and rss submission, also pulling in videos from YT and similar or data feeds from Amazon and other suppliers.

Very quick and simple to do - you just need to decide what you want your content to be and spend 20 minutes installing and configuring plugins.

I've done videos on these things here over the past 5 or 6 years so this is not new stuff.

    • I've been using WP-robot and Profit Jackpot both wordpress plugin, they are easy to set up.
  • use wp robot plugin..
or u can use free plugin autobot WPematico
  • That looks like an illegal tool that takes other peoples content and rewrites it. People's COPYRIGHTED material.

Just because someone publishes their information doesn't mean you can take it and change it.

I would be VERY careful using something like that. Many people don't even like seeing their stuff republished directly from their rss feed - if they thought you changed it too I think they'll be pissed for sure.

    • I agree to Andyhenry... it's unethical. It maybe hard to prove since it was rewritten, but it's still unethical.
    • Absolutely not. Like any tool it can be used for both good or evil, and it all depends on the user. I never encourage my customers to use copyrighted content without owner's permission. As you may know there are many sources of content that:
      1) is specially intended to be used by the affiliates on their own blogs (e.g. Amazon, adult program Morphing Feeds etc);
      2) allow to publish their copyrighted content in exchange for a back link with credits.

Furthermore, there are many share-free services like YouTube that allow to use their content (e.g. embed videos) to your sites.

Of course you should use it careful and DO NOT copy the copyrighted content. I thought it's obvious.
  • Do you want to run a blog (the ethical way) on auto-pilot? Then follow this "easy" three step process.

    1. Write or outsource 52 articles targeting low competition, long-tail keywords.
    2. Add all 52 articles to your Wordpress site and schedule posting one per week.
    3. Monetize!

How to monetize? Well Google Adsense probably makes the most sense, as its totally on auto-pilot--but if you take ten extra minutes to include affiliate links in your articles you can also create "passive" income that way.

Want some easy backlinks? Re-write the 52 articles and then post to EZA! Want it on auto-pilot? Outsource it.

How does this compare to an auto-blog with scrapped content? It doesn't compare... its leaps and bounds a better idea. Why? Because your original content will rank higher and you can sleep good at night knowing your not ripping off someone's hard work to make a quick dollar.

But then again... that's just me.

  • I think WPRobot is the best.
  • I have a question - are autoblogs just recycled and replayed material?

Because I 'set up' an autoblog, where I got 1000 data entries and formatted them in Excel. Then I converted these into posts, uploaded it and set it to post each day.

It will expire in 3 years... but is that an autoblog?

    • Nope. The real autoblog populates itself automatically from different sources day by day, and these sources will never expire (in the ideal situation of course)
