Hi Everyone!

I have a "newbie" question...what's the best way to make money from your website? Is it from Adsense, banner ads, or...?

Thanks!
Dina

In my opinion it depends on your niche. For example I have a site that is image heavy. I run transparent ads on the images (Adsense served by Luminate) and do quite well. I also run Adsense blocks in banner ad form. Displaying the links didn't work on this site.

Contrary to that I have another site where Banner Ads with Adsense do terrible and link ads do wonders.

Still with me? Good because the hole gets deeper. I have yet another site where Adsense is futile as it was designed with Affiliate Marketing in mind. The site promotes physical products and does so very well.

Then I have a squeeze page that is dedicated to building a list for those interested in yet another physical product. I entice visitors to sign up by providing coupon's for the products I know they are already interested in.

I also make money through my websites by providing a service. This is by far one of the easier ways to get started if you understand marketing 101--finding an audience and delivering.

So, yeah, I'd say it depends on the niche.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

Like bloggingpro has suggested you can use adsense or affiliate product [i prefer digital] as a way of earning revenue from your site. although it depends on the site niche.

what i mean is this, if you are set up a site on a niche which your audience doesnt have money to buy your product or service, you may think of using adsense or CPA As a way of revenue.

I dont think you can set up a site on children or fun niche and expect them to buy your $47 product or service. but adsense or cpa can go here.

    hope you understand?

    cheers

It depends on the website, I prefer selling clickbank products if its available, then I'll consider adsense, and then if both of these aren't very profitable, I'll sell amazon products.

Yeah totally depends on the niche and your overall goals.
When just starting out, Adsense is a good one to test out. Then, if the market is geared towards affiliate marketing - perhaps you could start integrating that approach.
If this is something you are really passionate about, you might then start creating and selling your own products!
On my own main "passion area" website this is what I've been doing - gradually getting rid of Adsense and instead, putting up ads for my own products (mini-courses etc etc). Why send someone to another website for chump change, when you can get them into your own marketing funnel, right?

That being said, there are plenty of people who are more than happy to stick with Adsense and/or affiliate marketing for all their sites!

      Whatever works for you!

I would suggest a WP blog reviewing Amazon products surrounded by AdSense ads. The entire domain from the name to the product reviews must use selected keywords that have a decent chance of ranking in Google top ten.

It all depends on the niche of your website. If you feel like trying something new, try to insert some CPA ads or place a content locker on there. Good luck!

I would have to say your list. Grow it, nurture it and it will be the closest
thing you can get to printing money.

My sites sell my products. Then when I get tired of them I make money from them by selling the website and product to someone else.
