There are a lot of pitfalls that come with SEO. For instance, the Google dance is something that we can all expect to see sooner or later. Lord knows where you will be in 3 weeks, let alone 3 years right?? This is true, but I just wanted to say that it does not all have to always be negative!!
I'm Tyler Abernethy, noone really knows me here on the forum, but that is ok.
I got into SEO and IM a year and a half ago, give or take a few months. Originally, I was going to school focusing on a major in Engineering and minoring in business. I have always enjoyed taking things apart and figuring out how they work.
I could not ever forget the day that I was introduced to IM because I was so intrigued by the whole idea that I probably spent $200 and 20 hours my first day. Thankfully I was introduced by my roomate, who has been involved since mid 2009.
Now I just signed my second client (full SEO and IM for both), and have meetings this coming Monday-Thursday!! The best part is I love every second of it! For anyone that is new out there, keep your head up and your eyes on the horizon because there is something out there for everyone, it's all about your approach!
