Hi guys, what's the quickest way to delete a wordpress site?

I googled it, and it seems there was a delete site option in tools... not anymore though.

Well I would go to your website files and delete all of those, and then delete the database from cpanel, if that's what you use.

Think that would about do it?

Deleting all files by ftp seems easier to me than logging into wp admin panel and pressing the big red button (even if it was there)

Even if there could be such a button, you will need to enter your FTP access info so the script been able to delete the files.

It's a matter of a hour to write such a plugin BTW

The quickest way to delete an entire wordpress installation is to go to FTP and remove ALL files there.

You don't have to delete the database in your Cpanel if you don't want to.

Yeah agreed mate, just FTP and delete the files. If you really want the database to be deleted as well, just use the database tools on cpanel, its a couple clicks and its gone.

    Hope that helps

I deleted an old wp site this week with the Tools option, and Delete was there! I then tried to delete another old wp site that way, and Tools is there along with Delete, and I followed the instructions and it's supposed to send an email to confirm the desire to delete. I never got that email, must try again.

It should be simpler to do, I agree. I had to do the first Delete about three times before getting the email, and then the other site never did send me a Delete email.
