INTERNET MARKETING

While promoting someone elses CB product, is it possible to go directly from my webpage to the shopping cart?

Or is it only possible to go from my page -> their website -> cart?

You can link directly to their order page (rather than to their sales page) only if you have the vendor's permission to do so - for understandable reasons.

But be aware that you won't be setting an affiliate cookie on your prospective customers' PC's, that way - so you'll be using ClickBank but not using their cookie system, and may therefore earn affiliate commissions only on the minority who happen to order at their first visit to the order page.

Unless you have another, different way of setting a cookie, of course, but then you have ClickBank's cookie rules to comply with ...

Well as of my knowledge normally the created affiliate links forwards from your website to product website.. You can't go to shopping cart directly from your website because that way tracking would not be possible and you won't receive your commission.. this is what i experienced let's see what other warriors answer for your question..

This is incorrect. Many CB affiliates are doing exactly that without any problems.

I would check with CB first and the vendor as well to make sure you are ok doing this.

  Clickbank will ban you if you are caught using this method without permission from the individual vendor(s). Some may cloak their purchase link usually with a php redirect, so it is recommended to get it from the vendor.
