What Sells Very Well This Holiday Season?

The Holiday Season 2011 is coming up and I'd like a few pointers to get myself going. Any ideas on what campaigns to work on to profit this Holiday Season?

I'm hitting video games hard this holiday season.

I've written several 1,500+ Word list articles about Xbox, PS3, Wii, etc games.

I was a bit hesitant, because of how utterly saturated the niche is, but I thought I'd jump in full force with the resources I do have.

Talk to any kid or youngster and they'll tell you EXACTLY what will be profitable.

When I was much younger, I'd sit for hours with a toy catalogue open, circling all the things I wanted my parents to get me for Christmas in red ink. Now, that's invaluable research. Grab a catalogue, throw it in front of a kid, and tell them to circle everything they want.

I did the same. Now, with my kids it wouldn't work, they are greedy and circle everything

But yeah, it's a great way of finding out what lives amongst the kids these days. To make sure you cover everything, you should try to get kids from different ages to make sure you are selling the top wanted articles for each age.

Pretty much all entertainment, games and toys always do well for me during the holiday - if you want to promote physical products. Pretty much everything that you buy as a gift works great.

I hear that certain hobbies such as crafts products also sell well - people making homemade gifts etc - but I've had no direct experience with that.

Also preparing for the New Year with all of the all the fitness and weight loss products is always a winner.

Do some research and try and work out what is going to be this years best selling children's toys and see if you can get a niche site set up for some of those products. Hopefully if you're right and get in early enough it could pay off big time!

I think any Apple product is going to be massive this Christmas but competition is fears!

Hey, KINDLE FIRE is on fire now. It is selling like ice in a desert area. It is easy to get an affiliate account from amazon. Also, the use direct deposit into your checking account, not a check that can get lost like sad sense. This product is blazing hot for us.

Something that I've been looking into is RC helicopters. You wouldn't believe how advanced this toys are now. Maybe it is something that you should look into. Kids really love them, and you be making almost 30% on each sell.

In addition to the helpful comments about electronic gadgets, video games and consoles, checking ebay pulse and amazon top sellers (look at each category) as well as sites like buy.com are very useful.

Do you market these to already established lists or do you make capture pages with whatever item attached to it and send people to CPA offers? Or maybe Amazon so they can buy the item directly?

Toys are on the top of the list for most marketers here
but let's not forget Christmas decors as well.

Shoes are also a big hit, as well as apparels.

Toys and electronics work great for the holiday season. If you are looking for specifics, check out Amazon.com. It has become like the standard for shopping online like Wal-mart has in the offline world. If you type in "top toys for christmas 2011," a listing for Amazon with come up with more than some 1,200 results. The cool thing about promoting products on Amazon is that there is a built-in trust factor. You don't have to sell to people. I use it for all my holiday shopping and have even gotten my 60-year-old mom into it. :-)

    Good luck,
    Joey
