How To Make $100 in one day and 10 Ways I've Done it. Please add to your own ways.

The elusive $100+ a day

You can do this from point $00.00 if you combine methods. For instance #10 I sold first and bought and fulfilled after the purchase. #1 I was flat broke that day. I had one way bus fare to the target area. #6 Come on man, I cleaned toilets with his supplies. I did have to pay a buck for the "trade secret."


Here are 10 ways I've made $100 or more in one day.
  1. Walked down a busy street offering any number Internet Services to small business owners
  2. Bought a domain name that had to do with the latest and greatest niche market or eBook subject and sold it for $100
  3. Created a floppy disk. (Today it would be a CD) that explained some basics and sold it to a small group of ladies for them to use at one of their weekly luncheons. The easiest question was how do you turn off a computer when shut down is frozen and the hardest was how do you send an email.
  4. Wrote an ebook on how I walked down the busy street and made several hundred dollars offering any number of Internet Services to small business owners and sold the ebook (I could stop here because the profits are well over $100 per day for a ten day period, but I promised 10 ways)
  5. Wrote an ebook on how I wrote an ebook on how I walked down a busy street and .....
  6. Went to call on a Insurance Agent who I just knew would be my "today's $100." He said he did not want a website but he sure needed someone to clean his office restrooms. I rolled up my sleeves and cleaned them like they had never been cleaned before (I used to be a janitor) and charged him $50 to clean and $50 to teach his staff my "trade secrets" (pumice stone and water)
  7. Opened a membership site and loaded in all the products I purchase for my own education. (ones with RR and MRR of course)
  8. A few Warriors have PMed me in times passed and asked me to write articles for them. The first $100 took me 10 days but I've since written and made $100 in one day. It can be done.
  9. Sold several of my domain names with with some other goodies in my WF sig file
  10. Sold 50cent YOYOs on eBay for $1 each (downtown Los Angeles has a Wholesale district where you can buy anything by the dozen and sell on eBay.)
  11. Bonus Number 11 (always over deliver if you can) Sat up a site and sold advertising on it.
What have you done to make $100 a day or more. Let's help the new Warriors who want to know how to get started. Hey, they can take some of their new found wealth and buy our WSOs

I've had some "down time" lately so It's time for me to start working my own list again. Hmmm let's see I'll pick #...... :p

    Great thread George (as always).

    When FireFox 2.0 was released I spent a few days researching the best tricks, tips, plug-ins, short cuts etc etc and compiled them into an eBook for Warriors as a WSO. Limited it to 40 copies with Private Label Rights buy now.. $3.

    Made $120 in something stoopid like an hour lol (Thanks Allen). Also, I had a back-end down-sell that made me a further $40.

    I made money.. Warriors had a great report.. with PLR so they could either sell or use to provide excellent content to their subscribers with. Everyone's a winner

    This report could easily have been sold on eBay for similar results.

      Here's just a few of mine:

      Ghostwriting - articles, reports etc.

      Wrote a short report and put it in my sig on a popular weight loss forum

      Hot trends - for example, the day after the 'Biggest Loser' final everyone was looking for information on the 'biggest loser winner'. I put up a quick blogger blog with affiliate products and submitted to social bookmarking sites.

      Promoting product launches

      Created and sold websites (I don't do this in one day anymore because it's not very profitable, but it still works if you need $100).

    That is a milestone marker. It's given me more hope to think of it as an average of $100 per day, and not a necessary requirement, i.e., 5 $600 days sounds easier to me, if I can flood my website with enough traffic on certain days.

          Did you sell your CDs offline or online? I've often thought it would be a great idea to put a lot or products I have RR to on a CD and sell them to my offline customers.

          Frankly I have stuff on my harddrive that runs circles around some things I've picked up at IM seminars. My friend paid $250 for a CD that basically told how to do SEO by proper metatags, Titles, Headlines, Key Words etc. Basic Warrior forum info. Of course this would all work better for my friend as long as he was also paying the $29.00 a month. (this was in addition to the upfront $250.) Here's the kicker. My friend didn't have a website.

          A few days ago he said he wanted to start the $29.00 a month payments again. I asked why. His answer. "I'm thinking of getting a website again."

          I've showed him my sites in top position on Google with my key words and his eyes glaze over. I don't get it. He has no concept of anything except "They Say I'll be on top of Google" Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh! "They say." Makes me cringe.

    Took a few pics of some yard signs supporting two different sides of a local issue. Uploaded the pics to Cafe Press to create two mugs.

    Wrote a press release to local media about supporting your side with a mug.
    The press bit. It took off. I sold over $300 worth of mugs in one day with no upfront investment other than the time it took to write the release.

    $100 a day is easily done with adsense. It's easy to make a site earn an average of $5 a day. Build 20, rinse and repeat.

    To get your $5 a day per site focus on clicks that pay a dollar or more....you'll only need 5 a day ....and with a CTR of 10% you'll need 50 visitors a day per 20 sites.

      Hi Brian,

      I'm glad I encouraged you. But you have no reason to be shamed.

      I could never have done anything without the help of this forum. I've been a member according to the stats since 2002 but I've actually been a member here since about 1998. The first Warrior Forum I joined didn't carry over the join dates.

      I'm just saying that EVERYTHING I learned about IM I learned here and anyone who pays attention to two things will do from OK to GREAT in IM, depending on many factors.

      Secondly, just soak up the abundance of free information you will find here.

      I'm still learning every day and I believe I have a long way to go. There are many Warriors here who's join date is quite recent who amaze me.

      Fortunately for me, the trip is better than the destination. Well, at least I'll say the trip is great, I'll let you know about the destination when I arrive.

    As a newbie, just doing my first Google search on 24th May 2008, I began learning some basics. In August/Sept cash flow was short & as I'm really into detail, obviously had learned some of the basic info well & decided the info I had studiously gained in the 4 months was valuable, so I held 4 x full day seminars & charged $99 each person.
    I did the seminars at a friends office, provided home made Pea & Ham Soup with crusty bread for lunch, plus M & A'tea.
    We covered such things as the law of the land & rules of the Internet game, Forum ethics, Spam law, reading the Terms & Conditions, how to check the company doing the promo, links, hyper links, html code, Skype, Gmail, auto-responders, Lists, how some gurus really do earn 1million dollars in less than 24 hrs & heaps of other starter info that non internet folk will come across in their first encounters with internet marketing!
    It was a mind bending day for the poor glazed eye attendees but they sure realized it is a legitimate business opportunity & an amazing opportunity for a lot of people.

    Let me add a few of my own into the mix...

    - As mentioned above, graphic design! it's a highly profitable, in-demand skill that's quick and simple to capitalize on and I recommend all internet marketers try their hand at it!

    - Living in a university residence, I offered to help my fellow dormmates clean up their rooms for $10 a pop...mostly involved things like taking out the trash, sweeping, straightening up. Might not be glamorous, or high- but the fact is $100 is $100!

    - Offered to "clean up" people's computers by installing Glary Utilities, running a scan and clearing up their systems then showed them how to do the same for themselves in the future!

      Hi Michael,

      There is a wide area. There is a Toy District, a Fashion district, An electronics district, Diamond/jewelry district etc. etc.

      I actually just get down in the area and "get lost."

      Start around 6th and Broadway go east on 6th until you start tripping over homeless people then walk north to fifth go back west on fifth to Broadway, do 4th street and third.

      Take the side streets explore the alleys. Grab a Hebrew National hot dog wrapped in bacon from a street vendor.

      All this is on foot. You will miss everything if you drive around. Park your car and walk. Or take the blue line to 7th street metro station and start walking from there.

      As you walk east on 7th street you will go through the diamond district. Look for a little alley that is lined with middle eastern restaurants and grab a yogurt soda or an espresso. It's quite a nice way to spend a day.

        Hate to beat the WSO horse to death, but the first money I ever made 'online' was a WSO for graphics.

        Within one day I set up my website and crafted some WSO copy, and set up a paypal button. I spent the $20 for a WSO and listed it.

        When woke up the next day I had $900 and some change in my paypal account. Granted, I had to do the work which took me more than a day, but a days work set up the next 5 days work.

        For someone looking to make their first $$ online, I still recommend a WSO, provided that you offer something that people need and provide great service or a great product.

        Trust me, once you get a taste, and prove to yourself that YOU can actually make $ online, it serves as a great motivational tool. The amount of money you make that first time isn't as important as the lesson learned that when you apply yourself and implement a plan, YOU can actually do this.

          A $100 day from scratch is rare. My first $100+ day was for one IM ebook that I wrote in html about eight years ago, after many other failures. It actually sold for $295 after several months of writing and promoting. Still selling it like crazy now ("modernized" in pdf) As one of my early mentors told me, "It can take years to become an overnight success".

    Great post and it goes to show that you can make $100 in a day if you use a little creativity and some hard work. Here's how I have done it in the past:

    1. Create and sell a website
    2. Ghostwriting
    3. WSO (PLR packs)
    4. "Flipping" vintage jewelry - selling vintage jewelry has been a hobby for many years and there have been some rare occasions where I have stumbled across a valuable piece in a local antique mall that was greatly underpriced. Brought it home, took a photo and put it for sale in my RubyLane shop at $100 over the cost only to see it get snapped up within an hour. Pretty sweet!
