50% or 100% to affiliates on front end and backend

Hi Everyone

I hope you are all having a good weekend

I have a ebook and upsells to release soon but the hardest thing I am debating over is the commission for affiliates , I have a few options

1. $19.97 ebook - 100% front end to affiliates - 0% on backend
2. Same ebook - 50% on front end and 50% on backend on all items for life

Lee McIntrye works with the second option , seeing that it builds more affiliates which means more money even though you give 50% for everything

Anyone have any insights?

Many Thanks Everyone

Rob

Over at my Virtual Coach affiliate program, I generally give 100% on the front end, and 25% on the back end. I view that making my affiliates money gives them more incentive to promote my products. YMMV, of course....

Thanks Barbling, not really seen 25% mentioned much on the backend. A figure i will have a look at to see what each side gets...

      Exellent, Thankyou

50% to 100% on the front end will attract affiliates. You should also give a commission on the back end, usually up to 50%. This is because affiliates brought the customer to you, so they should also make money on the back end.

I also recommend setting up an 'Affiliates' page where you tell them more about your program, any statistics that you have, and affiliate tools such as banners, articles, autoresponders, etc. If you can also capture their email that would help you in future launches, as well as keeping them updated with new tools, advice, and updates about your products.

Will definatly pay on the backend, most of the successful clickbank vendors seem to be to
