How Would You Monetize This Parenting Site?

4 replies
Hey guys,

How would you go about monetizing a site tamemytoddler.com?

I have no idea about how best to monetize a site like this. All I've done so far is put up a few images/banners for clickbank ebooks. So far the stats are pretty much like this:

Visitors = 1,800/month
Revenue = 1 ebook sale a month at best for about $25

Is this standard or am I missing out on some easy money by trying to sell other stuff? What would be your next step if you had a site like this?

Almost all the traffic is from organic keyword searches revolving around working with toddlers. So prety much stuff like "how to improve toddler speech", "toddler house rules" and general toddler parenting questions like that.

Any quick ideas?

    Starting a list by putting an optin form is the first step. Parents are usually desperate if they are looking for solutions, so you should have a high subscription rate. After that you can send small tips with some clickbank or even amazon offers

    I suggest adding more pages to your site with content targeted to your buyers. Have at least 20 pages of 500 words. Search engines and visitors love lots of high quality content so that would help you rank well and get more traffic.

    You also need to look at your on-page SEO Factors. You could use the plugin called Platinum SEO to optimize your pages.

    Using stronger call to action would also help. Call to action are words that urge the reader to take an immediate action so they should clearly tell users what you want them to do.

    Hope that helps!

    And you can even send them some CPA offers.
