Squeeze Page. That's the bloody word I was looking for. A WP Squeeze Page plugin lol

Not plugin... Eventually, a theme or just a Page template. That's all you need. Did you try, eventually, to search for it (both in this forum and at large out there on the net)?

Actually, you can place your optin form that you got from your AR (autoresponder) service in any WP Page or in the sidebar (using a text widget).

    Why to over-complicate it?

I agree you should definitely use a template or a theme , you can find all sorts of themes around here or on google that look good and are free.
After that you should use an autoresponder , depending on how many visits do you have or target , use a free or payed for one.
If you have big traffic or lots of people interested you should pay for one.

I've built sites with the opt-in form in the sidebar and it works fine. And I know, why change something that works. I'm just testing a new method that might have some potential but just need a one page squeeze page.

    I've gone for wpsqueezepage.com

It was $50 but think it's worth it if this method works, will wanna create a few of these a month so worth the cash... Potentially.

I bought OptimizePress a while ago on a "recommendation" and glad I did. A little more expensive than 50 bucks but is totally worth it in my opinion. Beautiful pages and super quick and easy to customize... very newbie friendly and with minimal html/php knowledge, can do amazing things. Lots of support and instructional videos.

Other than that particular one, I have always just added the AR code to specific pages like Istvan suggested. Have zero experience with other squeeze page templates.... never needed it.
