How To Build A List With Squeeze Page?

I was hoping someone could help me with a couple questions I have about building a list..

I want to build a squeeze page, I can design one in Photoshop, or PP, or download a template, I get that part.

How do I put a web form on it to capture email addresses?

Do I just sign up for an Auto responder then paste the code, or is their an easier way through Wordpress?

After the Auto responder sends me new email addresses, I guess I would just add them to a service like Constant contact, or would you recommend another?

    You should use an autorepsonder service...my recommendation is Aweber.com

    Their service and deliverabilty is outstanding and there are also tons of tutorials to help you get started.

    You can design one whichever way you want, photoshop first, paint, gimp, anything you feel comfortable with. Just remember you need to then code the design up.

    Most autoresponder services come with form builders. You build the form on the autoresponder's website, then they give you the code to paste on your own website.

    If your using WordPress, you can paste the code in a widget, or wherever you want.

    When the user signs up through your for, their added to a list you've set up with your autoresponder company. You use this company then to send out emails to your subscribers. I've got a free report (link in my signature) showing you the essentials you need to build your first list.

    There is no reall need for me to answer this. However I guess I will put in my two cents worth. You should first think about which ar service you want to work with. I highly recommend aweber my self but just choose one and not one of the free ones. They are complete junk and most of your mails are going to bounce with those.

    As far as adding the code goes. You have a couple of choices as mentioned already. One place the code in a widget on the sidebar or place it on your post/page where you would like it to go. To make your squeeze page just go get either flex squeeze or optimize press. Then all you need to do is design the header/footer and your ready to go.     It is very tempting to use a free autoresponder but should, no when, you start building a reasonable size list if you then need to change to a pro service like Aweber you will have to ask your entire list to "opt in" again - you will lose a very high percentage of them.

    Do it right as soon as you start with Aweber

      Looks like Aweber will be my best bet. I think I understand it completly now. Thanks for the training module Colin! I would have messaged you back but I don't have enough posts yet, it won't let me

    Once you set up a form in the autoresponder take that code and place it into the html code of the page were ever you want the opt in form to appear.

    TE Tool box will host and help you set up a squeeze page for free. This is just an alternative if you want to get started and pick up on other stuff later.

    After someone opts in they are placed into what ever list they sign up for. For example you could have a list called weightloss, Golfing, bowling.....Each individual sign up goes into there own list not one big random list. You can set up different list depending on what you are promoting.
