Creating professional sales videos to put on landing page?

My conversion rates have dropped HEAVILY this month and I am trying to figure out new ways to increase it. I heard having a short video on the landing page, describing your product, is a very effective way to capture your audience.

I want a video similar to Mint.com's video (Mint.com 90-second Overview - The Best Free Way to Manage Your Money - YouTube)

Tons of companies now have "web 2.0" videos like these that are a great way to pitch their product.

My question is... is there any do-it-yourself video maker that can produce something similar to that? i've looked at websites like "animoto.com" and it doesn't really do it well enough.

I have also contemplated using Prezi.com presentations and recording it as a video. Any thoughts?

    My advice is to use Adobe AE with templates...
    You can pay for them or find them free...
    There are many stunning templates for AE ...just search on youtube and you will see
    And also they are very easy to use , just edit text and insert images , even a 8 years old can do that
    So look for that and I'm sure you will find more then one that will fit for your needs.

    I was looking into this the other day... and I think I found enough talent on Fiverr to turn out something pretty sharp for under $25... lots of people doing voice-overs and script-reading, people that do killer animations, people that will edit your video and sound files for a finished product, etc.

    I'm thinking, as of now, either Prezi + Voiceovers or Adobe AE + Voiceovers

    Does anyoen know of any good Adobe AE templates that focus on pitching business? Something simple and minimal?

    You can find there killer templates , or you can find them for free if you are lucky...
    May I ask what business do you have?

      I do web2.0 graphic design. So I want something clean and modern. Something like the Mint.com video

    you may use something funny and professional too.
    From my own experience it has very good conversion rate.
    I used something like this After Effects Project Files - Troubleballs | VideoHive
    click and view the preview.
    Not many have this kind of videos , but people like them and it is good for you.
