The best method to market your facebook page is Facebook! Use facebook for free marketing. I do like this. I add 5000 friends in 15 days using email product engine. Once I make 10.000 emails using this software I save them in CSV (comma delimited) file. Then I open my gmail account and upload it to my contact list. Open facebook account and click on FIND FRIENDS. I chose gmail as my primary email and all those emails will be upload to facebook. Not every email will be valid but 75% of them will be and I simply add those people as a friend. Doing like this I can add more than 300 friends in one shoot without violate facebook TOS. Follow this step twice a day and you will see the results. Once you reach 5000 friends, invite them all to your facebook fun page. BINGO!!!

NOTE: FACEBOOK ACCOUNT MUST BE MADE WITH GMAIL ACCOUNT, NO ANY OTHER EMAIL SERVICES!!!

How do you not violate facebook's TOS with this method? Your using an email list generator right?

I tried this, but it does not let me upload my contact list from Yahoo (csv file). It says 'these people are already on facebook or have already benn invited'!

Any fixes to this.

Yeah that method seems pretty black hat..but why would you add the extra step of adding them as friends? Why not just invite them all straight to your fan page? You can also import contacts into fan pages.

Comment on pages similar to yours, join groups similar to your topic and leave feedback. Also do seo on your fan page and get it ranked in google

Have you had success with this? I tried commenting on pages religiously for two weeks straight and had absolutely no success with it. Left great comments, had a kick ass username, and still nothing.

Insert a facebook coupon that build a targeted ad campaign with your keywords and then run some tests for few days to see how it works.
I recomend paying for CPM not per clicks with this kind of approach.
I run this kind of campaigns most of the time and work well for me so I think you should give it a try at least.

Their are loads of ways of promoting a fanpage:

1/ Include your Facebook page url in your web social profiles e.g. Youtube, Twitter, Linkedin etc. and also include in your email signature

2/ Also try and use facebook badge or “like” button everywhere your brand/business is present on the web: website, Blog posts etc.

3/ Use Facebook applications that quickly increase the engagement and reach of your facebook pages. - The Best Facebook Page Apps For Businesses | Like This Fan Page

4/ You could also invite your friends or your social profile contacts e.g Linkedin.com to the page.

5/ Create a custom reveal landing page, by creating a custom reveal landing tab for your facebook page you can increase the conversion of visitors to fans by giving a free gift, discount etc to encourage people to like your page. - How to create a Facebook reveal page

6/ Run fans only contests using Facebook apps from Northsocial.com

7/ You could also try Facebook advertising

Facebook marketing is a great way to promote your ads but you need to lay out a strategy; eg. keywords must be very specific, target groups related to your niche.

Another much cheaper way is to join fan page exchange clubs like youlikehits.com and FanPagers - membership club for facebook fan pages and groups. where fan page owners exchange fans and invite their friends to your page, works like ad swap for fans.

There are a number of pretty simple ways of marketing a Facebook page.....

1) Content.....make sure your content is good quality and encourages people to "like, Comment and share" this will ensure that you get exposure and encourage people to visit your page regularly and "like". The new facebook insights gives you a very good indication of how successful you are in this department with their new "reach" stat.

2) Post regularly but do not over do it.....3 times a day as opposed to 15 times a day.....you HAVE to post regularly but not spam. If you do not post regularly you increase the chance of people missing your update on their newsfeed.

3) Get exising users to interact.....I know its mentioned in number 1 but......You have between 20-30 days to get that user to interact with your page again before the automatically do not get updates from you.....so you need to entice them to visit or do something on your page.

4) Go out and use Facebook as your page and "like" other pages in you niche.....Contribute to their pages regularly without SPAMMING and provide value (When logged in as your page) and people will invariably visit you page.

Do these steps regularly and you WILL see your page grow....

Hm, my idea is to stay on the safe and legit track without some blackhat options... so, I would use Facebook ads to get more fans... it's simple and pretty cheap since you can basically get new fans to your page for cents per new fan...

There is a company in Israel by the name of Comlead - they specialize in running contests via Facebook fan pages and increasing the fan base by the thousands.

They only work with Fan pages that already have 100 fans.

They are pretty well known in Israel and their service is extremely affordable.

Get your first few hundred likes from fiverr.com

Then start liking other pages, comment on other pages on same the topic as yours, post photos, videos... well all I can say is build relationship! That's what social media is all about. =)

You can use the most professional networking site, LinkedIn. Just be visible and show your expertise, enlarge your network, and attach the link that will lead to your Facebook page, it will work for you.
