I'm looking for ideas on how to structure pricing for designing Facebook Fan Pages for other businesses. Any suggestions?

    It really depends on your market. For example I would charge a pizza place less than I would a Chiropractor. The fan page pricing range is anywhere from $250 - $700 and that's just basic. You can increase your prices by doing more pages or adding enhanced features like coupon system, contest or monthly updates. Also if you are selling locally check out what your competition is charging but don't spend to much time on pricing and just get out there and sell

      Name a price to a business. Then from there you can go up or down based on how you're getting received. Especially if you're starting out.

    I think a lot depends on your reputation.

    If you're loaded with examples, results and testimonials, then your pricing can reflect what you deliver...within reason.

    A great way to research ballpark figures to work with is to ask for estimates from people who do what you do.

    Nothing like getting it from the horses mouth.

      A competitor in my town charges $2500 to set up a Facebook fan page and a Twitter account.

      So, the sky's the limit, apparently, if you can snag some naive business owners, which I don't necessarily recommend.

        For me it would depend upon how good your design was how much id pay - but for me 200 bucks tops

    The leaders in the field are charging $197 - $300 for a basic side banner and one reveal tab. The price goes up if you add an Opt-in form from their auto responder, or Pay Button(s) from their shopping cart or Pay Pay accounts. Also as many above have mentioned, your ability to offer some "Wow Factor" for clients with your creative design can set you apart. If your designs are average quality or suck, keep it all priced accordingly. If you are an amazing designer who is both fast and creative and your sites are effective at getting leads and converting sales go for the $750 - $2,500 range. Also, as another shared, consider your market. Doctors, corporations, and all the high-end clients gladly pay a premium to work with brilliant designers. The most important thing you can do right now is make a decision and test the market(s). Consider whatever happens as nothing more, and nothing less than feedback, and correct as you go! All marketing is a test when you begin! Go have fun, learn this market by working in it, and make some money. Stay Creative!

    The price is what YOU feel you're worth - it's simple as that.

    Nobody can really tell you what price is right because they are unaware of your skills, the quality of your results, what you can really offer, etc. So ask yourself, what are you worth when it comes to this?

    And don't be afraid to go high with the price. A lot of people are scared to shoot for the stars when it comes to selling their service or product. Don't do that mistake. Experiment with various price points and avoid undervaluing yourself. If you fall into the 'I will give you the whole world for a dollar' trap then you'll end up working for much lesser than what you should actually be charging. So aim high, test different prices and keep pushing the envelope.
