Camtasia help needed...

INTERNET MARKETING

Warriors,

Just a small hiccup with Camtasia but it is killing all my time online and yet no resolve. I would really appreciate the feedback.

OK, the headphones work fine however when I do a voice recording to screen capture it now sounds garbled, there is an echo, and low volume. It recently happened and I have not been able to straighten this out or diagnose the problem. Please advise if you are able.

Are the issues seen during the editing phase or only after the video has been exported?

When your screen recorder pops up, be sure to click the mic icon, and make sure you have your mic source checked. Just an idea.

I just had to buy a new headset/mic due to background noise. The new one has no background hum. Guess my old set just got worn out. I think the USB plug was worn.

Check your audio recording settings. if they are at 8 bit, you will get all kinds of audio grossness, make sure it's at 16 bit.

44.1 16bit mono or stereo. 22.05 shouldn't do that, but worth checking

Format PCM I assume?

Hmm, are you sure there are no power issues with the computer?

Try grabbing onto the computer's metal frame when recording to see if this could help? I had the same problem, with grounding... Not really good!
