Hurray! hurray!

Mates, I can't believe this. For over two years of going off and on, trying this and that stuff, buying this or that, I finally found something that works. I'm smiling ear to ear as I see my figures for the past 28 days. I just hit a little over $800.

When I started off with IM, I made few dollars, then nothing and nothing. I got so broke and dropped. Came back again after some rest and it seemed like IM was not meant for me. I dropped and promised to try again. Early this year, I made up my mind and said I will not fall the third time. IM cannot beat me down again. I spoke boldly to myself and built up courage and strength.

During my days of trying and failing, I learned ONE THING that has been the key to whatever I'm doing now. That ONE THING is FOCUS.

Everyday, every new thing (product,ebook,method,etc) that comes up is told to be the best. Some will ask you to change your Hard Drive and forget about what you new before. Others boldly say "everything else you knew before now is wrong" and will claim to be the god-sent savior. I found myself trying this and that, and then another. All these led to complete frustration and discouragement as nothing seemed to work.

So I have been focusing on just ONE THING and my total earnings have grown over $2500 since January 2011 and the last 28 days show the most lucrative moments.

Though $800/month is nothing to celebrate, it is a clear pointer to the fact that I'm making it. Yes! I'm out of the queue of the 95% that drop. As I keep doing just this thing, I'm growing and growing and one day, I will stand up tall and firm.

I know some of you reading this thread are the way I was before now. I encourage you to grab one thing you feel interested in and something you think you can build. Identify your strength and be FOCUS. Trying everything will NOT help.

If you are like me, (ie you have figured out something and are picking up), stay FOCUS. Don't meander and don't allow this wind of 'new powerful method' blow you off your strength.

IM works and anyone can make it

Good post...I agree stick to one thing that works and build upon that...Newbies are overwhelmed with something called "information overload" when they first start where they are discouraged by a load of info...IM is all about trial and error, testing and retesting...Once you find what works you are in a good position to succeed...

Persistance is the key to any success!

$800 /month is certainly something to celebrate!

I think I am like you, Joe, in the fact that I have recently figured something out and things are picking up. In fact, a recently influx of traffic has given me a great boost of motivation and confidence.

Now I'm thinking that, as you said, focusing on that one thing will make me achieve my goals.

Having said that - I best go write some more articles.

I'm relatively new to IM and not making anythting yet so your $800 per month is fantastic and very inspiring.

I take your point about sticking to one thing at a time - there are a lot of things to distract the newcomer so staying focuused is really important.

It's true about all the different IM products. Most of them are full of ****, and all the good ones are telling you to do the same stuff!!

There are so many different ways to make money online, so many different models - affiliate marketing, having your own product, adsense. You can build your own website, build a facebook fanpage, use SEO vs PPC vs image adds, build a list, start a membership site... the list is endless. You can't do all of it at once.

Any one of these options can make you rich. And though it may be true that using ALL of these options together will make you even MORE rich, you can't master them all - all at once, you've gotta start one step at a time.

There was some dude in some random story who shouted "I wanna fly, I wanna reach the sky!!!", to which his wife replied "Yeh, but eat your eggs first"

I know you didn't ask...but I would recommend taking a good look at what is working, and multiply that, as in, the specific niche you are having success with.

Maybe that's already what you have done, and that's why you've had the success!

Well done Joe for sticking at it, i can relate to what you are saying, i remember the days of frustration we went through when we started out.
Now you have a feel for the process of what works its now a matter of rolling it out and tweaking it. There is no reason why cant now lift yourself to the next level.
