Hello,

Someone wants to buy my site via escrow.com. However I have never sold a site before and I need to know about possible scams.

Does anyone know if selling your site like this will be safe?

escrow.com is safe. The fact that the buyer wants to use escrow.com is a good sign.

Granted, it will take a few weeks for the sale to finalize. But it's very safe.

They may request an inspection period where they get to check out the site, stats etc.

I've used Escrow a number of times myself and never had a single problem.

I've never given log in details to a site - I wouldn't give that kind of info.

Any time I've ever had an inspection period it was the affiliate stats and traffic stats the buyer wanted to see.

If buyer asked you for using escrow.com then its really good sign ..... no worries of scam etc
