Is There Really a comprehensive Program for Newbies?

I have just started IM in July 2011. I bought in to a few courses and started two websites which haven't generated any income. I have been scouring the warrior forum and other areas of the internet for some time now and have found many different programs available for newbies, I am not sure which one are scams and which might actually be beneficial. I am really interested in turning this into a full time career. Does any one out there know of a program or person that could guide me or mentor me down the right path. Not "Primrose Path"

I would start with the forum here and look around to see if there is anything that interests you. It can be easy going from program to program. One thing is for sure your going to have to be willing to put in some hard work to get things going the right way.

What skills do you have that you feel others can benefit from? Maybe you can offer a service to get you some start up cash. Go and pay a visit to the service section see if there is something being offered there that you know you can do and offer it.

Check out fiverr and other micro gig sites. Those can be great a start for earning your first dollar online. Learn the basic then go from there. Make some time out for learning, this is never ending learning industry, you just can't get around that so be prepared to love learning and get used to buying info lol.

You can find plenty of warriors that are more than willing to help but it is always a good idea to try and help yourself first before sending a ton of PM's. A simple search will do the trick. It also helps to join the war room, tons of priceless info there.

    Hi Michael,

There isn't anything that will cover A-Z of internet marketing, since that's what you seem to be after.

I would recommend you browse around on free threads/blogs and try to understand what kind of marketing you'd best like to do. Most of the "newbie information" is available for free. It's only when you want to know details and advanced methods that you can't (generally) obtain the info for free.

Optional step - buy one or two wso's that are related to that particular type of marketing which you'd like to do. Or, sign up for mentoring with someone in the area you'd like to get into. Now, this is entirely optional and can be skipped - it depends on your budget. But I highly recommend paying a bit for coaching/knowledge to speed things up - only if you can afford it.

    Third step, apply your knowledge.

Now, you probably won't make much, if anything, from your first application. However, you'll understand where the gaps in your knowledge are and you'll start asking relevant questions, which in turn will help you improve your results.

I know, this doesn't sound glamorous or pretty, but most profitable business people just focus on being profitable

If you already know how to build niche sites, have you thought about building sites around stuff sold during the holiday season? There are lots of things you can promote across various niches order to take advantage of holiday traffic. People start shopping earlier online so you will see profit sooner than just doing something outside of the holidays. Also, when people are shopping for the holidays, they are usually desperate and just looking for a place to buy. You don't have to sell to them. The trick is to get ranked for stuff before it is released/advertised on t.v. You still have time to get stuff going.

    Good luck,
    Joey

I have watched the Chris Farrell videos before they have some good info. I just wanted to say that the main thing that I have learned is no matter what your niche is or what product you are selling. Learn to capture leads and build a list because most people don't buy off impulse and once they leave your site they probably want come back, but once you have a list you can always follow up.

The best way is to read this forum, and get ideas on all the options that you have such as blogging, affiliate, infoproduct marketing, CPA, providing service etc..

From there, dig deeper to find relevant threads or subforum, and read more about it. Then, when you feel totally comfortable, follow bueprints or systems that is proven - and don't just read it, take action, analyze your mistakes, and improve on it :-)

If you have $37 to spare, I will encourage you to get access to the private War Room as there are many warriors who share their full system on how they make money online.

There are many different ways to make money online and you will want to make sure that you stay FOCUS on following one system at a time. Once you have decided to follow one system which has proven to work, you will want to STOP purchasing other systems.

Hope my humble contribution is useful to you

Someone here recommended thechallenge.com to me recently, I started it a few days ago and it's great for getting you skilled up from scratch. It's also free and extremely well structured.

I would suggest that you try Amy Bass' program called "The Niche Blogger". It's been around for a while and it's how I got my start. I can say for certain that it covers everything from A to Z. It also has a very valuable forum. You can find it here: The Niche Blogger - Make Money Blogging - not an affiliate link.

I would look into some of the Amazon tutorials. I can't say which one specifically, but building an Amazon niche site, IMO, is one of the easiest ways to get started. And once you get the ball rolling you can start building more and more..and more.

Don’t spend your money buying anything. Read everything you can for free in this forum and in other forums and blogs online. It’s not easy to make money online because there is a fierce competition everywhere. You have a lot to learn.

Start with learning keyword research, content creation, and backlinking.

I'd really recommend starting by going over Shane Melaugh's materials which are mostly all free. He gives honest SEO information.

There are many ways to approach internet marketing - most newbies like yourself suffer from information overload. You don't need a comprehensive course, you need to relax, sit back and really think about what it is you want to do online.

You say you want to do "this" as a full time career, but you don't even know what "this" is yet. Instead of scouring the WF for a magic system that will instantly make you lots of money, read discussions with an eye towards - hmmm, I might like to do that online. Then find out all of the information you can about doing that specific thing.

Pick one thing that you feel you have a natural talent/interest in doing (and are willing to spend tons of hours at it), and stick with it until you've made your first $25. Start small and expand to bigger things.
