How do you run a Special on a Clickbank Product

Hey Guys,

I want to run a 72 hour special for my email list on one of my clickbank products, but is there a way to have two prices running at the same time. (one for my sale; on a specialpage.htm) and the regular sales page?

OR...do you have to just change the price in CB admin across the board?

Thanks for your help,
Regards,
Dale

If you are making it a special just for your list, you can just make a special page, but you'll have to still set up the special in CB. If you want to keep the regular rate for others who are not on your list, then you'll need 2 CB accounts, or use PayPal on the specials site.

      Dale,

Just list it as a new CB "product", but with a different price. Log in and go to Account Settings > My Products. Then click 'Add New Product'.

Then give the following link to your list....

      http://clickbank.net/sell.cgi?xxxx/yyyy

Replace the xxxx with your ClickBank nickname, and replace the yyyy with the new product number (product item number from the CB > My Products page).

Of course... you are right Brandon. This will work if you aren't using affiliates on the second site. I forgot.

Wouldn't this require you to pay an additional $50 fee to get the product approved?

You only need to pay the 50 dollars to create a new account, which you don't have to do. Like Harve said, use the http://ITEM.PUBLISHER.pay.clickbank.net format. When you click on the Add New Product button CB will put the appropriate ITEM# in for you. For example, if you sell 5 products under one account, the thing will pop up as
http://6.PUBLISHER.pay.clickbank.net when you add your new product.
