Why You and I "Waste Our Time" Helping New Marketers

Think about something for a moment. There is a business to be made teaching people with less knowledge and experience what you have learned successfully (and not so successfully) marketing online. However, for those of us who engage in other things and then come here to help others, there doesn't seem to be much incentive at first glance.

What's clearly visible is a constant peddling of products, signatures, and in-fighting.

I've had threads deleted of late that I really cared about and thought would help people here. I was quite mad about it actually.
*
Now before you tell me to quit crying over deleted threads because everyone has that happen to them, know that I've cooled off and have tried to think about why I'm still here. Why am I still writing to help others?

One Word: Connections.
*
This is why I help others on this forum. Each person I assist in building a business is one more marketer to work with in the future. The real money to be made online is from hustling to build a network of sharp, energetic marketers. It's not about who has the best product, but who has the best network. This inner circle can be built from the ground up and that's the power of this forum.

Sure, there will always be the ever-present cycle of newbies buying products from experienced marketers who know how to make a buck off them, but there will also be guys like you and me. We're trying to help others and build them up, because that's how we all succeed.

Think about it this way: if you meet one new person every day, by the end of the year you will have 365 connections. This isn't a "list" so to speak, but if you can manage to help that many people then when it comes time to collaborate on projects, find outsourcing, or w/e else, you won't have to look very far.

I hope that I've convinced you to keep on coming back to this forum from time to time and help each wave of new players in the marketplace.
