Hi, I have just wrote three unique articles and posted them to my blog. Can i post these same articles to article directories without spinning them??? Or will it be duplicate content. Example Ezine.

    That isn't what "duplicate content" means.

    "Duplicate content" and "syndicated content" (which is what you describe) are two completely different things.

    I have over 1,500 articles there, and all of them were first published and indexed on my own sites, and many of them on a few other sites, including a couple of other article directories, before they were submitted to Ezine Articles.

    Article directories don't require previously unpublished content.

  • I was reading on a different forum that It would actually be better to post on your own site and then ezine or not even on ezine at all...why send all your traffic straight to another website?

      This is completely wrong.

      A given backlink from a given page of the web will not somehow, magically, have the value of its linkjuice increased by being attached to content that's been spun instead of to content that's simply been syndicated without spinning. Even the people selling spinning software and services aren't claiming that. :rolleyes:

      If you're doing it "to get backlinks for your website", then there's no conceivable gain from spinning at all, as clarified in such detail by so many experts in all the threads just like this one.

      Sabiston, did you even read the whole thread before commenting.

      From what I've learnt here at the WF, all the top article marketers write an article and publish it, and indexing it before submitting it to article directories such as ezine.

      There is no reason to spin the article as it's from the same author. I suggest reading up on Alexa's useful links posted above about the differences between duplicate content and syndicated content.

      Syndication is very good. Not only will it help your SEO by providing valuable backlinks, but you will also start seeing visitors to your website through these links as webmasters are posting your article from ezine to their website including, of course, your resource box

  • well, you can try to do both and see what results you get. Test, optimize and repeat.
