Want to make money in the next 5 days? DO THIS!

No matter what type of Internet Marketing you do, there is no denying that it could take months before you see that first pay check and possibly years before you start earning a livable income.

So what do you do meanwhile? How do you earn a living?

Well, there's always the day job but with unemployment so high, many people don't have that option.

So what else is there to do?

Here's one thing you can do to start earning money in the next 5 days!

1. Log on to Ebay

2. Click on Advanced search

3. Do a completed listing search using any of the following key terms: 'microsoft office 2007' or 'microsoft windows 7' or 'Adobe photoshop' or 'Adobe creative suite'

4. Scan the 'sold' items for prices differences.

For example, here's an item that sold for $70: Microsoft Office Home And Student 2007 - NIB!!! | eBay

And here's another listing where the same item sold for $110: Microsoft Office 2007 Student Version | eBay

Want another example?

Here's an item that sold for $95
Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 32 / 64 Full Edition NEW Sealed Original with COA | eBay

Here's another listing where the same item sold for $143: NEW MICROSOFT WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE FULL RETAIL | eBay

5. Find similar unsold items, buy and resell them back on ebay for a higher price. Be sure to watch out for counterfeit software. Only buy from domestic sellers with good ratings.

Do this a few times a week and you'll make a comfortable living. You may even get rich!

Seems a good idea, but what if the software does not sell when we list it on ebay? Then we are left with it and won't know how to dispose it off. And by the way is it legal to be re-selling it like this?

Anyways, thanks for sharing the idea with us.

No you wouldn't. Your post is a text book example of IM dreamweaving - devise some scheme that sounds plausible to people with little or no experience and then sign off with a simply repeat X number of times and you'll be bringing in the dollars!!!

Excellent idea. I would occasionally do this when I was an eBay seller and know several people that make this a part of their business. The trick to it is to find stuff that has a wide variance in price. When I did it I would look for items that are closing at night, the later the better.

    • eBay arbitrage.

And I think the idea is you never touch the product. You have the $70 seller ship it to the person who buys your $110 product.

Won't work for people new to eBay, though. You won't get your money for 21 days.

Another reason it won't work for people new to eBay is that nobody is going to buy from you if you don't have any positive feedback (and most people are not going to buy from you until you've built up a significant amount of positive feedback).

If you're already an established seller with lots of positive feedback, however, then this may be a viable business model.

a continuation of this idea is to search multiple places for the same product, ebay/amazon/craigslist/backpage/etc. I have not done it for resale but I know when I price check you can see things priced a lot diffrent in diffrent places.

You could use the system posted and buy from one site and resell at another...

It all sounds very good and works well I used to it all the time I have also used Craigslist then sold on eBay...

Now the only thing that will be a problem here is that once you start bringing in a lot of money PayPal won't leave you alone....

--And unless you are buying from a Genuine Supplier/ wholesaler and have actual verifiable information and data IE: Invoices,Receipts, PayPal Transaction #s And Registered Business Name--PayPal will Limit and perhaps freeze your account.

    Why?

PayPal has a "High Risk Items List" and those you mentioned happened to be of them.

So you start flooding your PayPal account with transactions and it's all a matter of time when they will start questioning, Even if you have an outstanding feedback on your profile...it won't back you up either!--sucks I know!

There is no room for the little guy on eBay anymore unfortunately.

Yes you can get away with a few here and there...But a full time living? Not too simple.

    Speaking from past experience.

Thanks for sharing this information, but as others have said, one draw back might be you might be left with the products and cant sell them. its a good plan though =)

This seems like a great plan but it can be risky at times as you're not sure of a guarantee sale. It can be a fast way to make quick bucks for a little while.

    Nice idea!

It looks like a great idea but also much risky because if your item is not sold then listing fees = loss and also in India software selling very difficult very few people purchase legal copy rest of using cracked.

No, this is bad advice - it's not a good way to make money quick. An experienced eBay seller could probably make it work, but it is a risky arbitrage scheme that will likely doom desperate newbies to lose money they can ill-afford to lose.

Not a foolproof idea but still valid -- if you select the right products in good demand, you can certainly earn some cash with this method. Probably not a good place for newbies to start though.

  • Yeah I did this before also. I worked in a very specialised field with quite specialised equipment so I knew what stuff was worth. I once bought 10 routers for $100 a piece and later sold them for $500. Other routers I bought for $5 and sold for $130.

It's all about knowing what's good value and do you realistically have a market for it.

I have sold on ebay for some years, you would be amazed at what sells online and this system is regurlarly used by powersellers.

not the best tactic for quick money, but still a great way to get money to someone who is desperate. Arbitrage is a great way and I know a guy on craigslist doing this and making a truckload. And he only works a bout 7 -8 hours a week.

I can't seem to get arbitrage to work for me. I have tried. Maybe, if I knew someone who was doing it I would be able to get it to work. Anyway, I haven't used my ebay account in quite sometime. I thought you had to actually buy an item to sell it on ebay with their new policy? Also, you might be watching a shill bid on an item sale, so, how do you even know that the item is actually selling? Lastly, with craigslist I assume when you arbitrage you is going to actually see products offline for inspection? Unless you have some other way to do it totally online that I may not be thinking about at the moment. Sounds good in theory though. Let me know if it works in reality.

CL is a lot easier than eBay for this. If you're completely broke and need some start up cash - sell something you own first. Then take that money to buy something else and resell it at a higher price. It takes a little bit of time to get started but it does work.

Ebay is definitely one of the fastest ways to make money online. I used to be an ebay powerseller and top rated seller... but i grew tired of driving to the post office everyday and managing inventory. With an ebook business... both of these problems are eliminated - thus this is the field that i chose to operate in. But Ebay is good though. Hopefully you can make alot of money with their increased costs and fees.
