Wordpress plugin to drip content based on subscriber join date?

Is there a plugin that would display private prescheduled "autoresponder series" type posts in a blog to blog subscribers when they are logged in based on the length of time they have been a subscriber?

Ie. Day 1 of subscription show this post day 2 show this etc. where each subscriber sees only the posts that they have been a member long enough to receive?

I am looking for a plugin that does only this... nothing else and these posts would only be viewable if the subscriber is logged in so the system would know what posts should be shown based on how long their account has been active.

I already have a system that does this for individual subscribers to RSS feeds and podcasts just have not yet developed/found a way to schedule blog posts by unique subscriber account and date stamp.

We already have a wordpress membership plugin that works with our system as well... maybe I just need to get someone to tweak it to parse the subscribers feed and display it as post content to the subscriber?

But all this would be pretty much unecessary if I could find a ready made plugin that does what I posted in my first post :-)

    Sounds very interesting.

I know I would love to hear if this works like an auto responder.

      Hey Josh - thata a cool idea! A Blog-o-Responder!

If the posts already exist ... why not just send excepts of them via the email autoresponder with a link back to the real blog post?

Maybe Im not reading your OP right ....

Nope. Looking to use this in conjunction with my Nanacast integrated Member Lock wordpress plugin ... where the reader must be a subscribed blog account member to read posts... posts appear over time based on age of the individual account.

I've done this using amember with the incremental content plugin and wordpress integration- it wont hide the content, but will prevent them from being able to view the content until XX days etc.

That Digital Access Pass looks very interesting and reading through the sales blurb seems to do most of what you're looking for Josh.

But it seems to be doing the whole kit and kaboodle not just the 'autodrip blog content' part so not sure if it would integrate with your own systems.

Worth a look I would have said though.

I can drip membership content and even rss feed episodes with my own membership site software as well so I am not looking for any membership site or even wordpress membership plugins.

What I am looking for is just a simple plugin that does nothing more than drip content to individual members along a schedule based on when they sign up... nothing to do with account creation or management only to do with how the content is delivered to an individual after the account is created.

Specifically I am just looking for fairly basic plugins like this one:

    OpenLearn WordPress Extensions

The only immediately apparent limitation to that one is that content is delivered on a static schedule and cannot be varied.

I am also looking for any other simple non-membership plugins out there that do nothing more than drip content to individual members along a schedule based on when they sign up.

Actually this search came up because a client who was using DAP to try and accomplish this as part of his model realized that DAP lacked a lot of things he needs in his business model.

He came to us because Nanacast appeared to provide the features he needed that DAP lacked including dripped membership, rss feed, podcast content, and individual subscriber wordpress account access management but lacked the ability to make a wordpress blog drip private posts inside the blog to individual subscribers based on the date they joined and a schedule of blog posts...

We went ahead and ran a test today using that free serialized content dripping plugin I found that was designed to do this with a blog integrated with our Nanacast Memberlock plugin to create and manage the individual blog account access and it turns out it worked :-)

Thanks for the tip and suggestions... if anyone else is looking for a simple free plugin that will do this check out that free one I found it works great!

Thanks Josh for those plugins you found.

They look mighty interesting for a project I'm working on, so I will download them and have a play around.

Forgive me for posting to an old post. What did you conclude?

I want to do the exact same thing. (Here is my other thread: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...tml#post899286) I want to drip you Module 1 this week, Module 2 next week and so on.

I am thinking about getting Wishlist Member but I'm not 100% sure it does this.

This is a really silly question.

Why not put up all the posts as separate pages and password protect each page with a unique long password.

Then simply send an email or some other message to tell the person what todays page password was.

Apologies if I've read this the wrong way .

We have decided to go another route and add a feature to our own wordpress membership site plugin to pull in a unique subscriber feed which our platform generates for each subscriber and pushes to the blog via an API and the plugin we developed.

This way we can display personalized episodes pushed down that feed into Wordpress as private content when the account is created (also controlled by our platform externally) and dripped over time based on join date.

This will then allow us to drip content, push content in real time, have some immediately delivered episodes, and take advantage of our individual subscriber broadcast feature which lets us send private posts to individual subscriber accounts.

Its a little more sophisticated and powerful than what I was originally looking for but ultimately it is a much easier way to control content on both the full subscriber base level and the individual subscriber level and take advantage of the content delivery technology we already have for non-wordpress sites.

      Thanks for your input guys.
