How to start a forum

I am very limited in knowledge when it comes to coding etc. How difficult is it to start a forum and what software should I use? I have a fanpage on FB that has a million people and they are asking for a forum to come to chat about the niche. Any tips?

  • It's not that hard to start a forum, one of the top choice of software is vBulletin, all you need is find a web host, buy the software and install it yourself or hire someone to do it for you. Good luck with your forum!

    vBulletin is a good choice and I think Hostgator has that free in its package
  • Starting a forum will not be so much of a problem than getting members in. When you get members in you need to make them participate. Wish you all the best!

  • Try using Simple Machines, it is free, simple to use and there are many themes available to customize it.
