Hi guys.

Can you give me some tips to increase the amazon conversion rate?

    Would be tough to do without knowing what your doing now that isnt working...

    However, here are a 2 that greatly helped me increase mine when I was fairly new with Amazon:

    1 - Add more in text links, much higher CTR on those and conversion as well.
    2 - Test and tweek your current setup/format and keep a very close eye on how those changes affect your sales

    These may sound fairly standard but you would be surprised at how many don't do them, especially the testing and that made a HUGE difference in my sales.

    Which theme are you using now?

    Do you mean that the theme you're using now has product review excerpts on the main page with links to other pages with the full review article?

    I know many people use a standard theme for review sites but you may want to look for a theme that is designed for this sort of thing. The problem in my opinon with showing the full review on the home page is that it starts to get really long as you review more products (if it is laid out as one review following another and so on).

    I like that setup more, if for no other reason than it allows you to show more products to your readers in the same space as a typical review for a single product.

      Also in addition to the info above spend plenty of time on your review and write it keeping the reader in mind.

      A well written review can make a huge difference to conversions.

        Here are a few tips to increase your conversion;

        Get rid of the Amazon widgets and add product photos. I use a plug in for this or you can download the pics to your computer and upload them. Be sure to make them clickable.

        Select products that have a good number of positive reviews. This shows that people are buying and are happy with the product.

        Pick products from low and high end price range. Amazon pays commission based on number of sales not sales amount. So the more you sell the more you make. With a variety of price ranges, you are likely to make more sales and up your commission.

        Stay on top of what is selling in your niche by visiting Amazon and looking through the best sellers in your category. Come up with related products also to increase revenue streams.

        Make it clear how to buy the product. Click here to Buy XXX. If you do not make it clear, some people will just not understand how to buy it. I personally put a very clear link at the top and bottom and contextual links in the article.

        Offer benefits. Why should they buy via your link - free shipping or best price etc.

        Use keywords that attract buying customers including laser targeted keywords for your product and keywords that answer questions i.e. what is the difference between product x and product y.

        Remember to choose keywords that catch the consumer in the buying stage not after. For "example - "camera a vs camera b" is buying. "How to take photographs" is after they already bought.
