Getting into affiliateing

Hello,

I have been thinking for a number of days about starting some affiliate web pages, but I am not too sure where to start and what to do/expect.

I would like to create around 3 of them, and then leave them running and see if they do actually generate some form of secondary income.

But again what is the best thing to affiliate? Should I do some amazon ones and some not?

Thanks.

amazon is a great place to start, and setting up a website using a platform like wordpress is reasonably simply unless you're a complete tech n00b.

but dont think for one moment that you can set them up and leave them to just generate an income. they might produce a small amount for a short period of time, but as with everything in life, they too will require care and attention to flourish.

how much time/effort you put in will roughly influence how much you get back out of it.

    good luck.

I see, and I know they will always require some attention. I will still take care of them and not just leave them for a couple of years.

Amazon usually converts the best - no wonder, it's a well-established company with a lot of user reviews and other stuff. But you can do anything - Amazon, CPA, Adsense, Clickbank - it's not about that, it's about finding a market and niche and then finding a good offer within the niche.

Despite what some people who teach how to make money online will tell you, there is no easy money to be made with affiliate marketing (or anything else online for that matter). With a lot of hard work though you can definitely make money. I have found the SEO part of the equation the hardest and most time consuming ...

Yes, as easyrider says. I think that the SEO part is the part which I will find hardest and struggle to do, I have never cracked the backlinks code so to speak.

But I think I may have a new, effective approach which I may bring into action!

  • Pick you niche, and then choose the programs depended on you chosen products or services. Amazon is really worth to try. But you can't leave this site on their own. You should optimize them and make the promotion of your products/services

Would you recommend creating sites for products which I am interested in? Would that help at all?

You can join Affilorama for free or get a great course from matt also for free.
