My Mistake and Learning from it:

Mistake:
I Used a custom standalone autoresponder (a wordpress plugin that appeared to be great alternate to paid ones) I created two AR messages using it. I prpared the email subject and content and tested before loading it. In test it worked properly.

BUT in actual run those two emails did not have links hyperlinked they are just blue texts not links....Im sure the list members would have been frustrated as it was cPA offer when link was not working some would have clicked spam button or the unsubscribe link in bottom.

Lesson Learnt:
Depending on low quality and cheap stuff will not work the way it was mentioned. YOU will end up doing beta testing OR you will put your business in trouble OR you will get frustrated with your IM business. Move up to high quality stuff always and never worry about the how to part or the implementation part.

Result:
Came back to aweber.

I'ver tried a bunch of A/R setups trying to save the money for Aweber and I have never found anything better. I suspect most everyone has their favorite, and AWeber is mine.

I love almost everything about Aweber, only gripe I have is that spam bots sometimes hit thinking it's a comment form and I find my subscription price jumped because I have an extra thousand "unsubscribes" You'd think there would be a way to protect yourself from this with the whole opt in process. I guess just make a point of clearing out the unsubscribes on a regular basis.
