New online software solves - difficulty with taking action

Hey I am in the process of developing an online software program that combines goals, nightly checklist, accountability partner and prizes to jump start people into action.

To help make the program even better, could you please post reasons why you sometimes or all the time do not take action
Thanks
Jeff

Fear of making a mistake. I am new at all this, and I am deathly afraid of screwing up and damaging my reputation before I even get started.

Information paralysis. I have way too many info products that claim to teach me how to do Internet Marketing. I'm sure many of them are really good, too. But I never make it all the way through one course before the "next big thing" comes along.

    Hi Jeff

Having suffered for many years with ADD, I have found my biggest problem is task management and taking action.

    You software sounds very interesting....

One of the main problems is the fact that most time management, task software takes far to long to set up with all your tasks.

I have now cracked most of my issues with a large whiteboard and a pen and paper, that's after trying most of the software out there.

What would work well is allowing task list to be imported into the software, you could then sell, or add in set tasks lists for certain tasks. as a rough example one for setting up Wordpress etc.

That way people would have to type all the tasks in?

Give us a shout when you are complete sounds interesting.

One other idea, if you have a project with 50 tasks, it may be a good idea to be able to hide all but 6 of the tasks, that way people would be looking at the mountain of tasks and may be able to concentrate on the ones in hand.

If someone is to lazy to take action then they are probably to lazy to use your software also.

Maybe you should make software for action takers.

Hey you should check out "The Action Machine". It's kinda like what you are thinking of developing...

I've used it once but after a while, I just went back to pen and paper.
