Regardless of your success level, if all your websites, services etc...were shutdown, all your current online streams of revenues gone and you had to start over, with $20(10 for domain 10 for month of hosting) how long would it take you to make enough to pay your bills, and/or get where you were before?

Interesting. In addition to your questions, I would also like to add what would you do first?

If that happens, i'll throw a quick fiverr posting to make some and cover the expenses for the meantime... or offer services to other webmasters.

If your plan includes competing with asian guys who lives on $200 per month, than good luck with it. I think, better plan is, when you got money. Invest in yourself and get some high paying skills.

Like copywriting, generating traffic, seo , if you are loaded with these skills. You can go to any business in world and say "I will increase your website with in ... weeks. Here's the prrof, what i did in my past?". i am sure, you will have no issue in feeding yourself.

I'd place a small ad in the local community newspaper giving a major discount for first time customers taking their business online. I'd then use Craigslist and the other community based classifieds to post my services. If I was hungry enough I would go find a reputable company in the community and give them a day free of charge just for letting me hang a flyer and a recommendation...and perhaps lunch. After day one I would then go door to door looking for clients.

If I didn't have web skills then I would fall back on my construction days and offer a major discount for remodeling/handyman work.

If you are talking strictly online, then I would use the $20 to post a WSO offering webmaster and or VA services, giving away several trials to gain some reviews.

If no skills at all I would go research what is selling on Ebay and then go visit some of the many garage sales around here looking for merchandise to resell. While out I would stop by and make an additional quick $20 for giving blood. I would also go to Amazon.com and find video games and movies that are currently marked down and then resell them on Ebay. This can be risky if the item goes off sale before you sell an item, but it works.

Offering wso cost $40. Buy/sell services cost $20, i guess?

  • Interesting question , if left no money , I think I can use joint venture tactic using no money to earning the profit, but how is up to a person on invite the JV partner and give a simple proposal.

Or else, likely you can head another method like , selling physical product?
