A marketing lesson from the lottery winner...

Do you know why it's important that you choose to either make all the money you want, or join the masses and struggle with your finances?

Before I tell you that though, let me explain how this post came about.

Today, a couple announced what they were going to do with the lottery winning (over $100 million dollars)

They talked about how they were going to buy an expensive car, give money to their friends, and of course...

...go on a trip to Las Vegas.

There was nothing about investment, or multiplying it. Even if that's what they want - the press didn't say much about it.

Here comes another piece of harsh reality.

Most people are focused on how to spend their money, not on how to multiply it. The papers will lose readership if they start talking about real stuff like increasing one's net worth - Las Vegas on the other hand, is a dream for many readers.

So, you're either the predator or the prey. You either amass wealth, or struggle financially for the rest of your life.

You can argue against it all you want, it won't change a thing. Most people are not responsible enough when it comes to money. That's not your fault.

But if you choose to pass on that cash, moving from their pocket to yours, then you'll just be one of them. And that's why you have to decide how much money you want, and then you gotta go get it.
