Strategy to Make Money with Facebook Fan Page???

I have been around the internet marketing game for a while, but I really have not caught on to making money with Facebook yet. I am specifically interested in how to do this with a Fan Page and I think there are quite a few out there in need of this information.

Anybody with a good strategy please post is below and include how to get more fans, how to monetize the fan page, how to build a relationship, etc.

I may not be a newbie with all of internet marketing, but I am with Facebook and I could really use any good advice you guys have.

    Well the best thing to do is to keep your fan page active. You can do this by using your fan page to comment around popular comment threads. Like other fan pages as well. Let people recognize who you are. Also use the questions tab. It's a great way to let people who are not fans like your page too. Since anyone who answers will appear in their newsfeed, multiple people can see it and visit your page and like it if they haven't yet. It's also very important you have a capture form either by fbml or ifame to generate leads. You offer a free training them you give them a series of emails.

      Thank you for the advice. I have a capture form on my page, but I have not really kept it all that active. I like the idea of using the questions tab and I like that you are putting up a thought for the day.

      I guess the first place to start is to log in every day and start posting to my fan page.

      Even i was searching for the answer Benjamin asked and thank you for your suggestions regarding using questions and commenting on others fan pages, both are easy to do and can generate many likes..

      The most effective fastest way is to run a ppv campaign on Facebook for your page.

      You will be amazed with the results.

      I'd also suggest commenting a lot using your fanpage account, asking questions, and if you have the cashflow starting a facebook ppc campaign to drive likes to your page.

      Another way to drive likes to your page (if you're niching it by say reviewing and affiliating leather couches) is to create a fan page based on just that.

      Make a youtube video, SEO/rank that, then in the description go ahead and throw a link to your fan page.

      ALSO

      be sure to check out YouTube's new (to me anyways) feature called "hotspots". It shows you when the view is the most attentive and/or paying the most attention. At that moment in your youtube video you can insert your url. for example Facebook.com/mydumbyoutubefanpage or something like that?

      This way you're capturing their attention at their highest point, meaning potentially more clicks to your fan page and hopefully more likes.

      Lastly

      Set up a double capture iFrame on your fan page. Create a landing page prompting them to click the like page to get "exclusive access" to your facebook fan page. Then once they click like your new tab will pop up prompting them to enter their name/email for their FREE eBook or FREE EXCLUSIVE UPDATES..etc..etc..

      You get the idea yo!

          There is so much money on facebook if you do the right marketing and to do the right marketing you need to have a concrete plan and strategy.

          Read the post I just made, it should help you out a bit.

          But to summarize, just do the double capture technique I talk about.

          Everyone and their grandmothers are on facebook. Focus on a niche, and capture leads via emails in exchange for exclusive content and/or a free eBook but also capture the Like.

          This way when you post on your fanpage, it will show up on the person's feed.

          Like I follow ESPN Soccer Net on facebook, and I absolutely love soccer. So every time they make a post I see it on my feed and I click their links. What this does is take me to a post they made on their own website.

          So there I am reading a nice article on ESPNSoccerNet's website, and all of a sudden I see advertisements on the side and am sometimes tempted into clicking on. BOOM! ESPN just made money!

          Imagine if you could do the same thing without having to rank in the Google search engines? All you had to do was write a blog post on your niche website, and redirect your facebook viewer to your website.

          Easy!

      There are lots of ways you can increase your facebook fans both free and paid ways of doing it.

      Here are some sites that offer free fans for your pages. Use them to get some startup fans to start your fan pages.

      1. Get Free 50 Fans from Buy Facebook Fans - Buy Targeted Facebook Fans - Buy Twitter Followers - Buy Google Plus One (you just need to tweet their service)
      2. Get Free 25 Fans from www.freefacebookfans.com
      3. Get Free 25 Fans from friends help friends campaign so that you can set username (Go to http://bit.ly/FBhelp)

      What you can do for more fans is to keep your page as active and interactive as you can. Commenting on other pages, the questions and join groups that enable page liking. Make sure your default fb page landing tab is your capture form so you can generate leads in the process. Join groups like 1000 likes in 90 days or promote your page here. I get around 50 new likes a week through here and leads as well.

    Thank you all for the great information. I am going to take this thread and break it down into a plan I can follow and once I am done with my current project this is going to become my focus.

    I really do appreciate all the help. I have known for some time that Facebook was a great place for marketers, but just could not get a handle on it. I think with the information here I can easily build my business with Facebook.
