I understand marketing is much less competitive for Spanish language products, in case you didn't know,there are a good number of Click top sellers that have been translated to Spanish.

To clarify, you use a personal Facebook page for your biography & friends and a separate Fan Pages for all business dealings.

AlejandroPuyol,

1) First of all... use WordPress as a platform for your "blog" or your main website.

2) Second... add an app to your Facebook account called "RSS Grafitti". It will automatically post your blog posts to Facebook when set up properly.

3) Add a plugin called Tweet Tools to your WordPress site so that your blog posts are automatically tweeted.

4) Spend a few bucks on a great program called TweetAdder (google it). Use it for adding followers, tweeting, etc. They have an excellent tutorial and it is a great product for tweeting and building your followers as long as you don't go overboard with it.

5) A great service to use for article writing is need-an-article.com. (I used to use that service until we got our own internal full-time writers. Great service - fair price.)

Thank you very much for your advice. I'm having trouble finding writers in Spanish. I found some that I liked but the prices were crazy, ($ 50 for an article of 300 words)

The best thing you can do is target local SEO forums and start helping people. You can even give away a free theme in exchange for an opt-in and start building a list of your own.

Also a good free ebook on your subject can bring in a lot of traffic when done correctly. Hope that helps bud :p

Before you try on Google Adwords , you may try to look for partnership with those wordpress hosting company . They may buy from you or help you to sell more.

I know, I do want to build a blog. My actual question is. What is it appropiate to blog about? My own products? My market news? Both?

Blog about anything having to do with the niche you are working within. News, products, general information, etc. Anything the reader can use will help bring you traffic and credibility.

If you are offering WP Themes, your market is global and not necessarily limited to your country or city. You may be better off purchasing articles in english written by native english speakers and then translating them to spanish which is your native language. You will then have the best of both worlds.

You could then have a sub-domain in your site tailored to the english market... hope that helps.

Wordpress is a super popular market and you are not limited to Spanish audience. But if you offer tutorials in Spanish, then you get a a lot of local audience and business.

There are lots of things you can write about wordpress and theme development. The topics are always evergreen, just start writing!

Also create video tutorials, they are better than blog posts.
